Ikaliwâ = to make something turn left (infinitive/imperative; object-focused) - ikinaliwâ, ikinákaliwâ, ikákaliwâ

"Ikaliwâ mo sa ikatlong kanto" = You turn (the vehicle) to the left on the third corner.

"Huwág mong ikaliwâ, sa kanan tayo" = Don't turn (the vehicle) to the left, we go right.

"Pagdatíng natín sa Taft Avenue, ikákaliwâ mo" = When we reach Taft Avenue, you will turn (the vehicle) to the left.
