Welcome to Tagalog.com!
This website is a collection of tools one can use to learn Tagalog. Here is a rundown of some of the more important and useful features on this site.
This website has more to offer than the things pointed out here, but these are the ones that are most commonly used by Tagalog language learners!
Lessons
If you're a beginner and don't know where to start, you can use the menu to find Tagalog.com's beginner-friendly lessons under the "Lessons" tab (link: www.tagalog.com/lessons/).
There, you can find a few beginner resources that will help you start to learn the language.
Dictionary
If you want to know what a Tagalog word means or want to know how to say a particular word in Tagalog, using Tagalog.com's dictionary via the "Dictionary" menu tab. (link: www.tagalog.com/dictionary/).
We believe this is the best Tagalog dictionary on the web because it includes advanced search features
custom built for Tagalog, and thousands of audio clips and example sentences.
Reading and Listening Practice
When you get past the basics, if you want to listen or read some Tagalog content, you can use our "Reader" tool found in the menu tabs (link: www.tagalog.com/reader/), or the Videos section (link: www.tagalog.com/videos/).
More Resources
If you need more resources, you can go to the Tagalog Resources Master List via the menu tabs (Tools -> Tagalog Resources Master List), and you will find more resources there that could be of use (link: www.tagalog.com/resources/).
Decks
The website also has an SRS (spaced repetition system) flash card system to help you learn vocabulary efficiently.
You can use pre-created 'Tagalog 2k' Deck with the top 2,000 most frequently used Tagalog words,, or rapidly
create your own decks using the dictionary's "paperclip" icon with built in audio.
