Tagalog.com has special code called "markup" to help format text to help people better discuss and illustrate topics in a language discussion.
This markup code is similar to HTML or BBCode, if you are familiar with those, but simplified and specific to this website alone.
With markup code you can:

- Highlight a word or part of a word in yellow.
- Underline, bold, italicize or strikethrough words.
- Add accent marks ( diacrítical marks ) to índicate where the stress lies in the pronunciation of a word.
- Add a of a word when clicked (or tapped, on tablets & phones).
