"@primesgenato Hey, I have one supporter at least! ; ) Anyway...there’s no ill intent here, we’re just having a technical debate, nothing personal. The “ko ikaw” folks have some good points. I’ve noticed a lot of language forums have a history of getting heated over time. I would prefer these forums don’t get that way...we’re all in the same boat here, just trying to get a better grasp of the language!..."

"This "ko ka" "ko ikaw" is a lot like Nakaka- and Naka(repeat first two syllables). "Kita" being a replacement for "ko ka" but in reality it's "ko ikaw" because it's actually used in daily speech. Not in formal ones but in more casual speech and even in some songs. Academians would say that "Nakadidiri" is the correct usage and "Nakakadiri" is wrong, but in reality what is spoken is "Nakakadiri". I don't think it's wrong, but academians and grammarians tend to favor a certain pattern over another, and wha..."

"This is quite a bizarre thread. What exactly is the goal here? To make jkos concede and remove all "ko ka" references? Really??? Everybody in this thread seems pro "ko ikaw", and against jkos. Not so. I 110% agree with jkos, cos that's the most logical thinking process for a Tagalog student. I'm with jkos. "Kita" makes more sense as a "ko ka" replacement (which is WRONG, in case somebody brings this up yet again). That's how Tagalog Reference Grammar, and Essential Tagalog Reference, describe it. Don..."

"@moninja777 Do you mean this in regards to when you try to press "remove" next to words listed on your study list? If so, I do have the same problem as well - I can't remove the words as well. If this becomes a problem, I found that you can: 1. Search up the word(s) you're trying to remove from your study list on the Tagalog.com dictionary 2. Press on the "✓ Studying" button for this relevant word. 3. The grey "✓ Studying" button should have turned blue, and the word should be removed off you..."
