Hello! My name is JNighthawk. I am from Memphis, TN and I am a Beginner Filipino language student.
I am studying the Filipino language because.... I love my fiancée and would love to communicate with her in Tagalog as well as English. Plus I love the food :-)

Welcome! Yeah, the food is really great when done well, I wish it was more popular in the US.

It is rather popular in the area that I am in. There are two Filipino restaurants within a quarter-mile of each other. I go to both. My favorite dish is the bangsilog.
