Maligayang pagdating?
Do you know that in English.

@tagalogako it means happy arrival. normally happy is masaya. Maligaya is used more as merry like in merry Christmas (maligayang pasko). dating means to arrive and the pag- prefix makes it a noun. the ng at the end maligaya just links the too words.without it maligayang pagdating would be separate it would be like yelling
"Happy! ......... Arrival!" as two seperate sentances. The ng linker makes it "Happy Arrival!" the happy adjective is describing the arrivalprobably a little more in depth of a break down than you were hoping for but there ya go

"Maligayang Pagdating" is hardly used even in formal conversations. The only time I see it is when there's an attempt to translate "Welcome"
