Hi,

it looks like the website has a problem with words that are spelled the same:

If you look up "Hapón" (Japan) and click on the word or the user examples, you get to a page explaining the word "h_a_pon", afternoon.

In the flashcards, in the top 2000 words, we are taught "kaso" with the meaning but/however, but when you click on the user examples, you only get examples for the meaning "case". In this case, the pronounciation is the same, but it's still not what you would expect. Kaso meaning case is pretty straightforward, but with a conjunction, it would be nice to have some examples for its use.

Hi @Giorgio ,

Thanks for the Hapon issue...I will get this fixed...it's pulling up the wrong hapon page.

About the 2k: We're working on adding example sentences, but it's a BIG job. If you can imagine...5 example sentences each x 2000 entries = 10,000 example sentences to create AND then also categorizing them so the best / most useful examples show at the top...it's a lot of work and will improve over time.

Hapón = Japan
Harp on. = magchismis walang hinto.
Hápon = afternoon
Once hapon a time = Noong isang mga araw ang nakalipas.
Ha pon = isang pirasong ehedres.
Hapon shop = type of shop for gf to sell necklace to pay for a facial.
Hey did you hapon to see the most beautiful girl in the world?
Cheese ... I put hapon the toast and just ate the rest.
Hapon ... Many meanings.

Salamat, @jkos! I can imagine it takes a lot of work - take your time I just wanted to let you know.

@NikNak, I wish I could hapon the bandwagon with more examples, but I can't think of any!

@jkos Administrators, overall you all are doing an outstanding job with this site. None of the other tagalog learning tools I have used (including those on youtube, online tutorials, Pimsleur, tagalog textbooks and study guides) comes close to providing the array of great learning tools as this site. Keep up the outstanding work po!

Maraming Salamat!
