Interesting language learning interview

I thought this video with "MattvsJapan" interviewing Stephen Krashen was interesting. Both are strong proponents of immersion style language learning. Lots of things to think about here:

I wish there were more immersion style learning videos on youtube for tagalog.

I liked these ones: www.youtube.com/watc h?v=QV2vBlDmakU / www.youtube.com/watc h?v=fWLUz1VbGe8 , but there are not that many like that (i.e. extra slow and easy).

@Giorgio Those are pretty good (especially the outtakes ; ) )! The problem is immersion style videos are pretty tough...they're expensive to produce, and hard to create content/topics that appeal to a wide audience...

@jkos yes, he's funny! But I agree, making it appealing to a large audience is not easy. There are children stories, but if they were baby-level (aka what I need), then the story would be boring. If they are for older children, they are impossible to understand for total beginners. I found children's stories with English subtitles, but I'm not sure how useful they really are if I just read the subtitles. I'd have to watch them twice, once with subtitles and once without, but again: boooring.
It would be best to have videos like Pappa Jedder's, but the low viewer count he has is probably the reason he is not posting much these days.

Papa Jedder has started a new series recently, and I think it's even better than before!

I recommend to all of you to check it out: youtu.be/e0mztv5TYwM

This one starts with parts of the face in general and goes on to talk about particular parts in further videos.
