I am studying the Filipino language because I have friends there and I want to visit them more often in the future. So I think it is nice, when I can talk in Tagalog to them. I wish to know more about the country when I am there, so it is a good habit to talk with the people in their own language.

I am studying the Filipino language because.... I have been married to my Filippina wife for eight years and I want to learn Tagalog to surprise her. I also would like to learn Tagalog because we have built a house in General Trias, Cavite and plan on permanently moving there in the near future. I also want to learn to be able to have conversations with my wife's sisters, nieces and nephews. I plan to hire a tutor for one on one lessons three days per week while my wife is at work, and when I have the confidence to hold a basic conversation I will surprise her.😃
