I see you fixed the typo in the post title. ; )Dodong is a Bisayan nick name for sure. In case you're wondering, toto / totoy (shortened to "tô") is the Tagalog version. My neighbor's palayaw is toto and I never feel quite right adressing a man ten years my senior as "boy". The short form for dodong is often just "dong".
