Question: Why is there ang (before the verb) in these sentences?: Sino ang nagbigay sa akin nito?
Sino ang gumawa nito?

It's an article for proper grammatical construct. However, it can be eliminated and get the same meaning. In fact speaking-wise, "ang" is normally not spoken anymore (contemporarily). Or shortened with "Sino" and spoken as "Sino'ng gumawa into?"
