Question: does anyone know of any good books for kids to learn Tagalog? I’ve heard mixed reviews about “ The Fabulous Lost and Found and the little mouse who spoke Tagalog”; specifically that the translation seemed forced, like its a book written in english for the purpose of translating to any other language. If anyone could point me in the direction of a good book for me to read with my kids so we can all learn Tagalog together

@JS5193
Buribooks has a ton of Tagalog language kids books to pick from. They are ebooks, and it is a subscription model (I forget the price though). Most if not all are written straight in Tagalog (not translated from English)

@jkos They even mostly all feature a very poor English translation along with it. I found that even the books for very young kids were really not beginners material at all.

I just bought 15 books from kidkiddos.com. When it comes to buying kid’s books from America I just take what I can get even if the translations aren’t perfect.
