Question: What does "bakag" mean? In this site it's listed as meaning stuttering, most likely in the context of a speech disorder which is also listed as a translation, but I can't find any other source of the word referring to it. Can anyone confirm?

I don't know if it's a Tagalog word as I have never heard of it before. "Utál" is the word we use for "stutter" or "stammer". Sometimes "bulól" is also used, but it is used more often to describe garbled/slurred speech as might be the way a very drunk person might talk.

@sam888
This might help: diksiyonaryo.ph/sear ch/bakag

In what context was this from? What was the sentence?
Do you remember where the stress is? Is it on the second syllable (bakág) or on the first (bakag)?
