Question: What is the best way to start learning Tagalog in depth?
I know I have to learn conjunctions, and I know a few, such as "Ng" or "Ang", and I know a few simple sentences from words I already know, but I want to actually start learning seriously. Ako hinde maatinde sobra tagalog. (My attempt at saying I don't understand a lot of tagalog)
Ako gusta maatinde tagalog at bisayan!

I started by reading a few grammar books - because I like linguistics and it's important for me to understand how the language is built, structured. Then, here I read the Tagalog lessons, completed the exercises. Now, I'm learning the vocabulary with the flash cards. I use the old and new system.

@Axel2023 What grammar books do you suggest I should read?

@Orcus I read:
Modern tagalog for beginners
Grammatical explanations and exercises for non native speakers.
Another, not very interesting, forgot the title, deleted the file.
And a grammar book in French ( my native language) as sometimes the explanation in English isn't relevant for me.
