hmmm ... I have definitely no intention to compete with a "Mr. slowgo" .... Normally I would pay no attention to such a posting. But THIS makes a difference:
they just DO NOT realize what i want, i want some BREAD they think imasking for FRED lol// i think all this is funny
They ? Filipino people ? Funny ? They are STUPID just because they dont understand your broken English ?
I dont think these people are STUPID nor FUNNY ! All the people in the phils I have met were friendly, helpful, sweet and clever ! Yes! CLEVER ! They sometimes lack education ... but this is not their fault ... I met school children who had to walk 2 hours to and fro Tacloban every day, just because their parents did not have the lousy 7 php for the yeepney ... And they had to quit school after 4th grade, because their help was absolutely required to make a living for their large family ! This is life in the phils ! My girl friend an me sometimes picked up people on their way back home to their village .... they were exhaustet, thirsty, hungry ... but they were still patient and sweet ! Does any american have to go through such hardship ... ? And yet some americans who do not speak correct English grammar complain, that they are not readily understood !
Filippino people are wonderful... and I dont tolerate that anybody, who does not even have a minimum understanding of his own English grammar blames these people for not understanding him! Period !
How about you, Mr. slowgo ... they dont understand you at the bakery shop, when you want BREAD. Maybe you just learn "Mayroon tinapay po ka ba ? ... and if you speak slowly and concentrate on your prononciation, people WILL understand you. You get your bread ... and "FRED" is not a topic any more !
Wouldn't that be nice ... ?
This is how I see the world ...
Kind regards
Jimmy
