Question: hello, how to say how are you in tagalog

i'm pretty sure "how are you" in tagalog is "kumusta ka?"

3. 'kumusta kayo' is informal and used when speaking to a group of people.

@kulandai If asking how someone is on a day-to-day basis its kumusta + pronoun. If you're asking specifically about their state it would be ano ang lagay + pronoun (or kumusta as well but this is more moderny). Kumusta ka? How are you? Ano ang lagay niya (how is her condition, imagine she's sick).

@bbellaa Kumusta kayo can also be used for 1 person and is formal.
