i'm pretty sure "how are you" in tagalog is "kumusta ka?"

@kulandai it depends on the situation!
1. 'kumusta' is informal and very common.
2. 'kumusta ka' is informal and used when speaking to one person.
3. 'kumusta kayo' is informal and used when speaking to a group of people.
4. 'kumusta po kayo' is formal and can be used for one person or a group.
hope this helped

@kulandai If asking how someone is on a day-to-day basis its kumusta + pronoun. If you're asking specifically about their state it would be ano ang lagay + pronoun (or kumusta as well but this is more moderny). Kumusta ka? How are you? Ano ang lagay niya (how is her condition, imagine she's sick).
