There are also Teachers that can give you a lesson on it. www.tagalog.com/teac hers/

We can also wait for a Native or Knowledgeable learner to answer.

You should seek information about the focus/non focus markers.

Learning ang/ng is not something learners will not get "in an instant"

"Ang" is an article similar to "a" and "the." Now, there is actually no particular article translation for "a" and "the" as both words may be translated as "ang." However, most of the time, we use "ang" for definite articles.

Ex:
(1) Ang Salita ng Diyos = The Word of God
(2) Ang aso ni Carlo = Carlo's dog
(3) May dumaan na pedestrian / Mayroong dumaan na pedestrian = A pedestrian crossed (passed by)

"Ng" is similar to "of."

Kapatid *ng* nanay ko = Brother *of* my mother / My mother's brother
Pera *ng* taumbayan = Money *of* the people / People's money

Now notice on the last example above. Translating it to English will necessarily include the article "the" even though in Filipino there is no "ang" article. That's because "ang" will be unnecessary when you already have "ng."
