Question on pronunciation of a sentence from this video in the Transcription Exercises: www.youtube.com/watc h?v=MH5Rq2joYdc (5:13)

The answer for this was "Buhay na buhay ang tubig dito dahil sa dami ng mga isda sa ilalim."

I keep getting confused on how "dahil sa" is pronounced because it sounds like "deso". Is that how "dahil sa" is pronounced really fast?

It sounded like "dahil sa dami" to me where "hil" and "sa" are a softer and quicker than the surrounding "da"s which is typical per jkos's comment. Have you tried listening at .5 or .75 speed?
