@PinoyTaj Nope, actually I thank you for sharpening the point. "I've given you a hard enough time for one day." How arrogant. LOL.

@PinoyTaj Actually, you didn't instead you jumped into the opportunity to nitpick an issue and ignored the other things that I said. That's not very attentive of you.

@PinoyTaj "I've given you a hard enough time for one day." Well, being blunt about your intention was too obvious as a token of your arrogance and myopic view.

Well let’s just say you need to do a little more research on “ay” and it’s many uses in the language and be a little more open minded.

@PinoyTaj When you use dictatorship, explaining proper writing seems like a crime. Dictating is not appropriate way to describe the situation. It only dismisses discourse by demonizing the other party implying as a dictator. You shouldn't use words lightly. They have different weights.

@nickchase327
> This dictionary is not even peer reviewed. It doesn't mean you cite a dictionary means that it automatically validates what you want to think it means especially the likes of dictionaries that is not validated by a university. And the context of 'ay' there is not the same as 'hay naku'. Also, 'ay' and 'hay' are very different in meaning. They are nuanced.

I actually think thats the online version of the UP Dictionary.

@akosikoneho I don't think so. Last time I checked the UP dictionary does not have an online version. Also, the UP dictionary is not completely monolingual like the dictionary cited by the TajPinoy guy. I even read an article saying that they were planning to go online.

@nickchase327 That is the UP dictionary online version and they do have monolingual versions(all definitions are in Filipino unless it’s impossible to explain otherwise).

@PinoyTaj If it was then the site should have stated that its powered by the UP Dictionary. It is not. I've seen the UP dictionary myself. It has many pitfalls reviewed in a journal but its better than that website that you think is UPDF.
