TAGALOG DECKS Question:

How do I set TAGALOG-DECKS so that, in the Tagalog Vocab deck, when I activate 5 new words, the program makes me learn the oldest words that I added instead of the most recent ones?

Otherwise I never end up learning the oldest ones.

thanks!

@NinongRik It's a good suggestion as an option. You also might try to just keep your deck smaller to make it more manageable. I know that Matt from Refold has said that you should probably do SRS on your most recently encountered cards (if you have a backlog), because you're more likely to remember the context of those cards and they will be more meaningful; which is why the algorithm is set up the way it is right now.

I think that cards can be added to the "Active Cards" list under "Create/Manage Cards", too, as a work-around.

@jkos The reason I ask is because I often add more than 5 new words each day (that I encounter in my immersion), but my goal is to learn ("add to active study", as it's called in TagDecks) 5 new cards each day. This way though it's as if some words are basically lost forever and I never get to learn them!
In the old flashcard system I just learned everyday from the oldest decks, so I knew for certain that at some point I would encounter every word the I ever added.

Adding this option in TagDecks would be great!

@repolyo Thanks! That's a great tip , I will do this as we wait for the new option to be developed
