University of the Philippines is offering Basic Filipino online classes via Zoom.

The UP Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature is offering Extramural Class for Basic Filipino starting May 2022. The class is open to all foreign students, young professionals or language enthusiasts residing abroad and in the Philippines.
The Filipino basic class will be conducted virtually for 30 hours, with 3-hour session per week (10 weeks, Saturdays) through Zoom. After this class, students will be able to use Filipino language in simple everyday conversations and situations. Topics include Filipino sounds and alphabet, self-introduction, simple conversation, basic vocabulary, numbers and counting and describing people, things and places.
Each class will be composed of 10-15 students and will be instructed by a faculty who has extensive experience in teaching Filipino to foreign students. Class materials will be provided by the faculty and a certificate will be issued upon completion of class requirements and examination. This class is suitable for those who have no to little background in Filipino language. Class fee is PhP5,000 for students who are residing in the Philippines and USD 100 for those who are residing abroad.
