Kinain is actually a conjugated form of KAIN.
 
You have to learn the basics of focus to even come up with kinain, to learn how it is different from nakain, kumain, nakikain (very common conjugated forms)...unless one is satisfied with pidgin Tagalog like "ako kain isda".
 
Then there's the ang ng markers and ang-ng pronouns that can change the entire meaning of "kinain" (hence, kinain ko and kinain ako not having the same meaning)
