Good day Pilipinas! What's up? This is Jorph from Jessi TV and we're back again with our live reaction video
But of course, before we start...
If you're from Jessi TV, one of our lawyers, if you fancy his videos, go there and watch it.
We haven't had a break for a week. We've been working.
We've been able to do a lot of content from today until tomorrow.
Let's start with the good news.
Feel good content.
And don't worry, it's not poverty porn.
But tomorrow, we'll do poverty porn.
Let's talk about the trending nursing student.
Where we can really feel the strength of this student.
For those who don't know, join me and watch what this student did.
Why he was made fun of by our Filipino netizens.
Where's the news?
Before we start, thank you very much to our team live that turned on their notification bell.
Sorry, I can't read it.
Twist! I watched it.
I watched the deleted video but I was too busy.
We weren't able to give a reaction on that.
But that's tomorrow.
Of course, Sunday, it's poverty porn night.
Anyway, let's start with the good news.
Actually, it's not.
Of course, it's the bad news that became the good news.
Of course, there's a crime here.
A mango vendor on Cebu City was arrested on the side of the road.
What's that? It's like chicken.
If you don't believe in the Bible, there's a Bible that says that humans are evil.
Actually, I watched something last year.
He was walking and he saw a woman in the middle of the road.
He tried to stop her.
Thank God, there were people there.
They were able to stop her.
This is how bad people are.
Of course, these are the proofs that are not afraid of the law.
I don't know if they don't believe in the due process.
Of course, in the middle of this bad thing, we'll see the light.
Hello, Daring Tulpo Effect.
Jose Luis Narciso, hello.
Journey to Understanding.
He happened to see two nursing students.
They are two hero students.
I just put one picture.
Forgive me for my thumbnail.
I'll fix it later.
There are two of you.
He immediately ran away.
Let's meet one of the student heroes in the report of Mon Gualvez.
Let's turn on our mic.
A mango vendor was sitting on the side of Sidewalks Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City this afternoon.
This is in Cebu. I thought it was in Metro Manila.
This is in the province.
The mango vendor, Bernadita Zamora, was 54 years old.
Later, a man stumbled on her back and hit her on the head.
It's like Hitman.
Isn't that how Hitman games are?
It's like they're passing by.
It's just like that.
Let's turn it on.
Our video is demonetized again.
Anyway, this is amazing.
I wonder what the history of this is.
Did he have a fight with her?
Did he have a relationship with her?
Is this a Rafi-Tulfo?
And he was brutally beaten.
It's just like a chicken.
God's mercy, they didn't show it.
But this is the woman.
The people next to the vendor were afraid and immediately ran away.
The suspect ran away quickly.
The victim was still standing even though he was already injured.
But when he was about to fall, a nursing student came to the rescue.
In another video, you can see the student's helplessness in helping the elderly.
In fairness, there's an HD video.
Our netizens are fast in these kinds of things.
This is the perfect example of what I'm saying.
You do a good job.
Actually, this should be on Sunday.
But I just wanted to touch on it.
This is an example of doing a good job.
You know, it's authentic.
Because it's not from a content creator or what.
The person who explains you how to do a good job is a different person.
That's the opposite of poverty porn.
It's really from other people.
The light of your good work comes from others, not you.
Good Samaritan, as Lee Nugaw said.
Using a T-shirt, he covered the victim's face to stop the beating.
That's his classmate who helped him in a PE uniform.
He didn't leave Ms. Bernadita until the emergency rescue team arrived.
That nurse's companion was a netizen.
Actually, even for me, I doubt that I can do it in real life.
Of course, it's different. It's bad to know everything.
Because when you watch it on TV, it's different.
Let's let the professionals do it.
Anyway, there's a connection to these things.
Actually, I also want to talk about ROTC.
I'm wondering if it's related to ROTC.
Actually, in ROTC, it shouldn't be military.
Of course, there's discipline as military.
It's more on first aid, disaster aid.
I haven't read or seen the content yet.
But I hope that's what they teach the kids.
Actually, even in my time, in the 90s, apply pressure.
If there's blood, apply pressure.
But of course, if you're not professional,
of course, look for help. That's the first thing we'll do.
Who's the doctor? Who's this and that?
Don't look at the camera first.
Let's do it again. Look at the video first.
You'll learn right away.
Okay, the first thing you'll do is look for help.
Is our 911 still alive? Or 888?
8888. That's four eights.
Is it still alive?
Usually, it's like that.
I've tried 8888 before.
It's really like that.
Is there a way to help the kids?
That's the first thing we'll do.
Let's do it again.
the first thing we'll do is look for help.
Is our 911 still alive?
That's four eights.
Is there a way to help the kids?
Okay, the second thing we'll do is look for help.
Is there a way to help the kids?
Is there a way to help the kids?
Ano Angel?
Mahirap talaga sumausaw. At syempre duty calls, kahawa naman ng Diyos, talagang si nursing student na si Angel, ginampanan niya yung, bagabat hindi pa siya lisensyado pero at least kahit apano, she did her what she learned sa kanya pag na-nursing.
But then I thought na di nalang ako masyadong magpapadala sa nervousness ko since nanay is there, she's in need of their help and since I can help, I wanted to aid her agad.
Good thing talaga yun.
If you're not professionals or what, humingi na lang tayo ng tulong o tumawag tayo sa kinaukulan.
Okay, a nurse.
Hello, Bright Naria. Good evening, ayan. Huwag maging mamaru. That's true. Huwag tayo maging know-it-all. Ayahan muna natin yung mga professional. Hindi tayo BS in everything.
Sinasabi niya lagi dyan.
At to inspire, sabi nga ng mga mahilig gumamit ng power to porn content, they're not bragging but they're inspiring daw.
That's true.
Sabi Jefferson, ang galing naman, the butterfly effect of doing good.
I do hope, traumatic experience yan.
But this is a sad reality.
But because di tayo expert dyan, I will not touch it yet.
Ah, leave in partner. Nako, ano nangyari? Nagiging maritesa tayo.
Ayun, sabi siya pura-pura, good evening boss.
Grabe namang selos yan.
Actually, it's a red flag na.
Kumasyadong jealous yung partner mo. Punting kimot, binubungaan ka na. Medyo kabahan ka.
Red flag na yan. Baka may magko-comment yan, sana all binubungaan.
Red flag.
Sila yung saksi.
Magla-livestream.
Awareness. Awareness na intention. Huwag nakaredy ka ng camera.
I would want to quote what my dad said to me.
Always be a blessing to others and be humble.
And it doesn't have to be something as grand as saving a life.
But making other people comfortable would be more than okay and God will...
Yan. Maganda yan. Maganda yung sinasabi niya.
Napaka super grandstanding yung nagawa.
Sadly.
Return the favor to you tenfold.
Nagbabalita mula sa front line.
And actually nag-comment dito si Sir... Si Dr. Richard Mata. Papabasa ko lang sa inyo.
O, ba't wala yung aking chat dito? Wait lang.
Hindi ko na copy-paste. Sorry naman. Baka magtampo yung team live natin.
Sabi dito...
She is a second year nursing student. Second year, diba?
University of Cebu, Banilad Campus. What can we learn from her?
Sabi dito, scout the area first before helping. Check for safety before going in.
Kasi minsan, ora-orada kang dumiretsyo. Di mo alam may kasabuat pa pala.
Meron pala look out. Yan ang problema. Minsan may kasabuat, di ba?
Nandamay ka pa. Naging kasama ka pa sa casualty.
So after makita yung pangyayari, observe.
Next, sabi niya, scout the area if there is an available health expert. If none, do it yourself.
Uy, parang pareho lang na sinabi ko.
Tapos sabi niya, apply pressure at the bleeding area. Uy, okay. Tama.
Let's make sure the bleeding area is positioned above the heart.
In this case, tama po na di niya pinahiga or else lalakas ang bleeding.
Ayan, yan. Hindi ko na alam yan, no?
So, ayan. Kaalaman niya tati sa, ano yan? Kaalaman sa lahat yan.
Salute to you, Ms. Angel. I propose that she will, she will a full scholar
at kung gusto niya mag-medicine, sana gawing full scholar din all throughout.
Ayan.
eh, sana nga, no? All throughout, no?
I-support siya sa kanyang gagawin.
O, nag-comment nga siya dito.
Thank you so much for your recognition, Dr. Richard Mata. Ayan.
You totally deserve it.
So, magabati ako sa Ibuwano,
ang ibig sabihin nito is, ano, God bless ka, nimo,
sa iyo at sa buo mong pamilya. Parang gano'n, diba?
greetings from Singapore, gandang gabi sa lahat.
Gandang gabi rin po.
Sabi ni Sir Leo C. Injilba, kapatid ng GDP.
O, grabe naman kayo, ha?
Stereotyping yung tawag dito.
Baka maka-cancel tayo ng Twitter pag ganyan.
Then, another update din.
Ito yung nabasa natin. Medyo mahabala pero I would like to give, ano, no?
Blessings and recognitions are pouring in for two nursing students of the University of Cebu
after their heroic acts of rescuing a sidewalk vendor whose throat was slashed
by her jealous live-in partner in downtown Cebu last Monday.
Pagala pa lang ito.
Dean Mercy Milagros Apuhin of the UC College of Nursing surprised Angel Faith Ababat
with a scholarship grant from UC.
Ah, okay.
And powerhouse review center for her future national and international licensure exams
during press conference yesterday.
Ayan, Dr. Richard Mata, no?
Tapos sabi to, Apuhin said she will also recommend to the school administration
that the same scholarship be given to Christine Ona,
who was assisting Ababat in giving first aid to Bernarda Zamora, 54.
Ababat and Ona are second-year nursing students at UC Manila.
Apuhin has yet to provide details of the scholarship granted to Ababat
since they are still to meet with UC President Atty. Augusto Goh on Monday next week.
She said they are scheduled to meet with Goh after the recognition ceremony for Ababat
at the Cebu City Police Office.
Apuhin said the school, particularly the College of Nursing, is very proud of their students.
Siyempre, igrab nyo na.
We are proud of the two.
They have actually exhibited commendable acts,
most especially the core value of UC,
which is service tempered with caring and compassion in whatever health scenario these are needed.
Apuhin explained that Ona was not immediately recognized
because she was not wearing her nursing uniform.
Ayun nga yung nakapii siya, diba?
When the incident happened, it was Ababat that was very visible because of her uniform.
But Apuhin said the two were actually helping each other in attending to the wounded mendor.
Ababat also acknowledged her classmates' help in calming her down and focused on the rescue.
It was also Ona who sought to help the from bystanders to call an ambulance.
So yun po yung ginawa ng isang partner niya, diba?
According to Apuhin, they have equipped their students with knowledge, skills, and attitude
that translate in a real-life setting.
Ababat will be recognized during their capping this month,
while the Philippine Nurses Association and other nursing associations
are also giving separate recognitions for her heroic deed.
The National Youth Commission, besides, is likewise giving her recognition.
This is on top of the recognition the Cebu City Government is set to give.
Councilor Ray Galeon has sponsored a resolution commending Ababat and her school.
Taming recognition to ah.
I'm so overwhelmed with this recognition.
Second year pa, BIA siya.
She already embodied the qualities of a nurse, caring and compassionate in service.
And Naana Saiya, second year pa.
How much more if graduate na?
Eto lang yung real talk tayo, no?
Sa first and second year mo talaga, ganado ka pa dyan, no?
Yung third tsaka fourth year talaga yan ang medyo kasabi nating struggle, no?
So I do hope na pag dumating na yung time na yung third year tsaka fourth year
dumating na yung struggle, sana they should support.
Not her and the other one, pero the whole student, diba?
Yan yung pamatay talaga yung third tsaka fourth year.
Anyway, going back.
I can see the best nurse that she can be. Nursing, not their top choice.
May side dito pala.
Interestingly, nursing was not Ababat's honest top choice for a college course.
Ababat said she wanted to take up accountancy while Ona was thinking of something else as nursing school is quite expensive.
Isa pa yung problema, no? Mahal.
Both Ababat and Ona were actual witnesses when Zamora was attacked from behind by her living partner, Edwin Salazar.
The suspect, who was later arrested by pursuing cops, admitted that the jealousy prompted him to slit the victim's throat.
The victim survived the attack and is now stable.
Ayun, ito yung update. Stable condition.
Kanina, nasa ICU pa eh.
According to her son, Al Robert Zamora.
Ayun, ang update.
So, I think this was ano, no?
May ibang ihip ng hangin, no?
Very refreshing, ikaw ang handila, diba?
Sabi dito ni Maestro Tibi, anong masasabi?
Anong masasabi kay Atorni Melo?
Nag-live commentara din siya kay Atorni, diba?
Medyo may mga ad-dominem pa din.
Eh, ayakan nyo lang siya, diba?
Ayakan nyo lang siya.
Sabi Jefferson Lawrence, katapang sa to.
Salute sa tapang ng Pinays from the South.
Sabi siya ngayon, si Monji, that's true, diba?
I do wish na once in, di man once in a while, sana palagi, no?
And speaking of tulong, no?
Bukas din yan, bukas, no?
Pag-usapan natin kung ano ba ito?
Poverty porn, no?
I think the stand of Atorni, diba?
It's poverty porn, eh.
Pero ako kasi, bukas.
Bukas ko yung bibigay aking komento in that issue of Mr. Viz.
Dahil malaki usapin dito sa US, no?
But anyway, meron po tayong dalawang natitiran live stream.
And thank you very much at team live natin na nandito.
Ayan, diyan sila, no?
Na why pagdating ng third at fourth year at licensure exam, eh kayanin nyo, no?
Or please comment down below, no?
After ng ano, anong susunod?
Ah, yung susunod pala natin is si Doc Adam, no?
Speaking of Doc Adam, nakausap ko kagabi.
Nakausap ko siya kagabi, kaya...
Sakto-sakto, iniisip ko siyang content this weekend.
sa YouTube at Facebook, at kumusta nalang nabas, no?
Si Doktora Farrah.
Yan ang ating mga mayamayang content.
So that's it for our episode, guys.
