so that we can celebrate our beloved President, President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos, Jr.

Sir, Mr. President, welcome to the province of Camarinesur.

To our special guests of the day, our Cabinet Secretaries.

First and foremost, without his support, this would not be possible.

Secretary Jerry Acuzar of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.

To our local officials, first and foremost, my father and mentor,

2nd District Congressman Elrey Villafuerte.

To my friend and partner, Vice Governor of the province of Camarinesur, Sal Fortuno, Jr.

Sir, Mr. President, na-inspire po ako sa inyong panawagan ng pagkakaisa ng ating bansa.

The mere fact that you are here in Camsur, that you are here in Bicol,

is a message to everyone that we should all unite for peace and prosperity.

One of the many aspirations of our President is to build 6 million homes nationwide

that will house over 30 million Filipino people.

I am truly honored and indebted that the province of Camarinesur is among its first beneficiaries.

I am proud to announce that under this developmental project,

10,000 housing units will be built for the people of Camarinesur.

This, in turn, will serve a home for 10,000 families or over 50,000 Camarineses

that will finally have a comfortable and secure home.

Ang aming probinsya at ang buong Bicol region ay madalas hinahagupit ng malalakas na bagyo.

Kaya naman, malaking tulong para sa mga Bicolano ang magkaroon ng ligtas, matibay, at komportabling tahanan.

Ang 10,000 bahay na ito ang magpapabago at magpapaganda sa buhay ng mahigit 50,000 Camarineses.

Hindi lamang natin mapapabuti ang pang-araw-araw na buhay ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino.

Mabibigyan din natin sila ng bagong pag-asa.

Kagaya nang sinabi ng ating mahal na Pangulo,

ang bagong bahay na ito ay paalala na may maliwanag na umagang laging nagaantay sa inyo.

CamSUR, the Bicol region, will definitely have a brighter future because of this project.

Mr. President, on behalf of the people of CamSUR, thank you for giving us hope.

Thank you for uplifting the lives of the people of Camarinesur.

In regards to the Dishood Project,

alam niyo ba, nung nag-propose kami ng housing project dito sa CamSUR,

sobrang bilis po ng aksyon ng ating masipag na Sekretary ng Dishood.

Above and beyond ang kanyang serbisyo dahil kahit araw ng linggo,

nagpirmahan po kami ni Sekretary Jerry.

Kaya saludo po ako sa inyo, Secretary.

Ang lupa po ito ay dating talahiban. Maputik, mababaw at maraming tubig.

Pero nung malaman po natin na i-inaugurate na po ito,

binilisan po natin ang pagtrabaho and in less than five days,

natapos agad natin ito dahil sobrang excited po kami sa proyektong ito,

magbibigay pag-asa sa mahigit sampung libong pamilya sa aming probinsya.

Sa mga hindi po nakakaalam, unang-una akong nakilala si President Bongbong Marcos.

Nung senador pa po siya, 13 years old pa lang po si Gob Luigi.

Hoben na hoben. Nakilala ko po siya sa isang bakasyon kasama ang Nationalistang Party.

Ang nagtanim sa aking isip, senador po siya noon pero sobrang bait po niya.

Sobrang humilde po siya.

Fast forward, March 2021, months before the filing of candidacy of President Bongbong Marcos,

ininvite po ako ng kanyang anak na si Sandro sa kanilang bahay sa Ilocos Norte para sa kanyang birthday.

Ganun pa rin po si President Bongbong Marcos, humilde, mabuot, ininvite po ako sa kanyang bahay.

Kaya talaga nakakasobrang taba ng puso na out of the 81 provinces,

pinili po ni President Bongbong Marcos pumunta sa ating probinsya.

Mr. President, I truly believe in your call for unity because if there is unity, there is strength.

And we can only progress as a nation if we unite as one.

So I call on all Camarenenses, I call on all Bicolanos, let us unite under the leadership of our President.

Because his success is our success.

Ang tagumpay ng ating Pangulo ay ang tagumpay ng bawat Pilipino.

Mga kapatid, gusto ko pong ipaalala sa inyo na kung hindi po kay dating Senador Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos na ngayon ang Pangulo ng ating bansa,

nahati na po ang ating probinsya.

Siya lamang po ang kaisang-isang Senador noon na nakipaglaban, nanindigan upang hindi mahati ang Camarinesur.

Our President has always believed in the power of unity.

He wanted our province to remain united. He wants our country to be united.

Maraming kalamidad din po na napagdaanan ang ating probinsya na nagbigay po ng tulong at personal bumisita po ang ating Pangulo.

Kahit wala po siya noon sa pwesto, tumulong siya at bumisita.

Kagaya po ang pagbisita niya sa ating probinsya matapos ang pagdaan ni Taipo Niña noon 2017.

Isang karangalan po ang pagbisita niyo ngayon, Mr. President.

as a way of expressing our everlasting gratitude for all that you have done,

mga kaibigan, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

mga kapatid, napakaswerto po natin na mabisita ngayong araw ng ating mahal na Pangulo.

Higit sa lahat, more than the visit of our popular and well-loved President

is the hope for a brighter future he brings to our people.

On this momentous occasion today,

we will groundbreak 10,000 units sa Pambansang Pabahay para sa Filipino Housing Project here in Camarines Sur.

There are 81 provinces in our country, 81 po ang provinsya sa ating bansa,

pero pinili po ng mahal na Pangulo, bisitahin po ang ating provinsya ngayon na araw.

Ito po ang pinakaunang provinsya na magpipirma ng Memorandum of Agreement under the Pabahay Program of our President.

Palapakan po natin ang ating mahal na Pangulo.

Konting kwento lang po.

A few weeks ago, nagpirmahan po tayo ng MOU kay Secretary Jerry.

Linggo po, on a Sunday, nagpirmahan.

Sa tagal ko po sa gobyerno, ngayon lang po kami nagpirmahan na nakita nagtrabaho ang isang Secretary.

Kaya sir, hindi po kayo nagkamali na piliin po si Secretary Jerry ako, sir.

Totoo po yan, hindi yan sip-sip.

Pagkatapos po ng pirmahan, a few weeks after, naggroundbreaking na po tayo ngayon.

At kahapon, nag-uusap po kami, sir.

Gusto namin bago mag-sona, may nakatayo na po ng ilang floor, kahit isang floor, dalawang floor lang para mapakita niyo po.

Ganon po kami kasaya sa inyong programa, sir. Maraming salamat po.

This project will be the tallest building in the Bicol Region, 25 stories.

Currently may 20 stories, ayun po. Pero lalampasan na po natin yan dahil sa programa ng ating mahal na Pangulo.

This is the first province na naggroundbreak ng ganitong programa.

And according to the SUD, this launching and groundbreaking will be the biggest to date,

with over 3,000 people witnessing this occasion.

Kaya, Mr. President, ulit maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo.

This babaay program will not only provide a home to our people,

this project will spur economic activity and growth in Camarines Sur and the Bicol Region.

This 10,000-unit housing project will easily bring to the local economy 6 to 8 billion pesos.

More than the 10,000 families or 50,000 individuals that will have a home.

More than 6 to 8 billion pesos will go around the local economy.

And more importantly, this will generate thousands of jobs.

While I was talking to Secretary Jerry yesterday,

yung target po niya na 6 million homes plus the 9 trillion pesos infrastructure program

under the Build Better More of our President,

we would be needing hundreds of thousands of skilled laborers

such as carpenters, plumbers, painters, welders, and more.

Kaya, Mr. President, our goal in support of your program

is for Camarines Sur to train skilled workers in partnership with the national government.

Kami na po dito sa Camarines Sur ang magdetrain ng libu-libong tao

to supply the skilled labor requirements of Metro Manila and even Luzon.

To help realize your Build Better More infrastructure program.

Mr. President, today's events are the latest proof

that true to your promise during the 2022 presidential campaign

and your first SONA last July,

that you have started to deliver your commitment

to pursue national unity and improve the lives of our people.

Mga kasama, our President's choice to visit and give priority

to the home province of one of the presidential contenders in last year's balloting

is proof of his desire to achieve national healing and unity on his watch.

Ilang dekada na po tayo naga-away-away,

political discord, political divisiveness that have hurt our country's growth and development.

Tama na po yan, magkaisa na po tayo.

Tama po ang sinabi ni Governor Luigi, his success is our success.

Ang kanyang tagumpay ay tagumpay ng bawat Pilipino.

Our President wants our families united, our province, region, and country united.

It's because if you're all united, nothing is impossible.

Malinaw na ang panawagan ng ating Pangulo na magkaisa tayong lahat

ay kita at ramdam, hindi lang sa isip, hindi lang sa sarita,

pero malinaw sa kanyang mga aksyon at gawa.

Mr. President sir, before I end,

we would like to express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to you po.

When you were a Senator and Chairman of the Local Government Committee in the Senate,

ikaw lang po ang pinakamalakas na kasangga namin para hindi mahati ang aming mahal na probinsya.

You stood your ground and fought for your strong belief and principles not to divide our people,

not to divide our province, despite all the pressures thrown at you.

We will never forget the love and support you have given our province.

We thank you for visiting us today.

We thank you for making this occasion the first provincial launch of your Pabahay Program.

We thank you for opening the first Kadiwa ng Pangulo in Bicol here in Pili.

We thank you and the Department of Agriculture support in the construction of the fully integrated cocoa processing facility

which you will inaugurate this afternoon.

We thank you for continuing the Kamser Expressway and the Pasakaw-Balatan Highway under the NEDAS Infrastructure Program.

We thank you for the Tupad Program of Dole.

We thank you for the AICS Medical Assistance and many more.

We thank you for your continued assistance to us during calamities in the past.

And we thank you in advance for your other programs moving forward.
