12:21.0
We created a fact-finding team to look into the matter of these certificates.

Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval says that officer has been transferred to back-end offices.
13:18.0
When we asked the immigration officer involved, he denied asking for a yearbook photo.
13:23.0
But perhaps he was interested in knowing the background of the person who went viral.
13:30.0
But definitely this is not part of the regular questions of immigration officers.
13:36.0
We have initiated a review of the procedures at the airport for those undergoing secondary inspection.

15:12.0
But he later took back that claim.
15:17.0
That's what's authorized by law. That's why I told them that it's not allowed.
15:23.0
I told them that it's not allowed for me.
15:26.0
I said, I can only give you monetary reward.
15:31.0
Let's just give it. It's not bad to give reward to informants, but not drugs.
15:37.0
And it should be properly documented.
15:43.0
A Philippine senator also believes the Anti-Narcotics Agency is not rewarding informants with confiscated illegal drugs.
15:51.0
But Senator Ronald De La Rosa, who heads the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs, has some suggestions on how to deter the alleged practice of drug recycling.
16:03.0
The PIDEA agent should be vetted through our internal cleansing process.
16:12.0
And the system that should be in place, the strict implementation of the body-worn camera is very good.
16:23.0
Because they said that they have a witness during raids.
16:34.0
An agriculture group says bringing down the prices of rice to 20 pesos per kilo remains far-fetched.
16:42.0
SINAG is reacting to President Marcos' claim the government is close to achieving his campaign promise of lower rice prices.
16:51.0
The price of local rice ranges from 34 to 42 pesos a kilo.
16:57.0

Yung 20 to 23 pesos na palay, pagginiling iyon, babagsak 40 pesos na bigas.

18:37.0

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says
23:42.0
America's banking system remains strong.
23:45.0
That's despite the growing regional banking crisis
23:48.0

23:53.0
Speaking to the Senate Finance Committee, Yellen also said
23:56.0

A Danish company is gaining ground for its business

Let's take a look.
26:17.0
At this 14-storey tall farm on the outskirts of Copenhagen,
26:21.0
you'll find everything from lettuce to kale and thyme growing vertically.
26:27.0
After three years in business,
26:29.0
Nordic Harvest Farm is now looking to expand its output and production.
26:34.0
So right now we are planning to expand in Germany, Norway and Sweden
26:38.0
over the next three years.
26:41.0
Anders Ryman is the founder and CEO of Nordic Harvest.
26:46.0
Before this venture, he was a business analyst at a shipping company
26:50.0
and also worked at a bank.
26:52.0
I was frustrated that traditional agriculture practices
26:57.0
did not cater for using less space than we do today.
27:02.0
So after a lot of thinking, I found out that
27:07.0
maybe vertical farming would be able to produce much more food
27:11.0
on an optimized space inside cities without use of pesticides
27:16.0
and to cater for agriculture land to be converted back into their original state,
27:21.0
namely forests.

Nordic Harvest was established in 2020.

This 75,000 square foot warehouse opened a year later.
27:31.0
During that time, the company has experimented with different seeds
27:35.0
to improve their yield, tweaking what they grow
27:38.0
and the settings for the plants to grow in.
27:40.0
What we discovered in the last three years
27:42.0
is that it's actually much more difficult to grow plants
27:46.0
in this environment than we expected.
27:51.0
When you grow in a laboratory, it's a completely different story
27:55.0
from when you grow in an actual production facility.
27:58.0
Some plants now have a yield several times greater
28:01.0
than when the company first started production.
28:04.0
For example, they can harvest certain types of lettuce 30 times a year.
28:09.0
Nordic Harvest is now looking into the possibility
28:12.0
of recycling the roots from their produce.
28:15.0
In terms of possibilities, developing the business
28:18.0
when you have a production facility like ours,
28:21.0
then there will be tons of opportunities to dig within the circular economy.
28:28.0
So for instance, when we harvest, we have green roots
28:32.0
which we can either ferment and put in our fertilizer
28:35.0
or maybe we can use them as medium to grow mushrooms or other things.
28:39.0
So we are investigating this a bit.
