That's the core of Knowledge Channel Foundation.

It was first in 1999 that we programmed an educational TV channel called the Knowledge Channel

that focused on curriculum programs like English, Science, Math, and Social Studies.

For more than two decades, much effort has gone into producing and acquiring the right content

and bringing them to public schools in the near and far-flung areas,

from Itbayat, Batanes, to Sitangkay, Tawi-Tawi.

We were welcomed by the principals, the teachers, the parents, the students,

and what they said we brought to them was hope and love.

The challenges of a learning crisis, worsened by the effects of the pandemic

and the political and geopolitical situations,

its services to the poor and marginalized Filipino children and communities.

Heeding the call of the new normal, our system is now even more ready

to teach and reach more through technology.

Our content, meticulously planned and aligned to the Department of Education

and the Early Childhood Care and Development curriculums,

are created to the highest standards and are proven to significantly impact

various facets of learning, cognitive and non-cognitive.

And they are delivered through multiple platforms,

on-air, online, and even offline,

which we found was very useful to teachers and thus their students.

The School at Home campaign ensured that video lessons are available

across different touchpoints to aid in distance education.

Teachers are trained and mentored to adapt to the ever-changing landscape

of teaching and learning as we navigate the new normal.

We are very grateful to the Knowledge TV channel

because it is a part of our project to provide a tablet

that is a huge help in their learning, especially in online classes.
