Dumalo sa Award for Promoting Philippines-China Understanding o ATCOO 2023,

si Pangulong Ferdinand Bombong Marcos, Jr., kusan kinilala ang anim na indibidwal mula sa pampubliko at pribadong sektor.

Ito yung matapos na makapasa ang mga nasabing indibidwal sa masusing proseso ngayong taon.

at former Special Envoy of the Philippines to People's Republic of China, Ambassador Carlos Chan.

Ang mga awardee naman sa Outstanding Contributions category ay sina Ambassador Rigoberto Tiglao,

isang columnist sa Manila Times at dating Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus,

at Dr. Jaime Cruz, dating Special Envoy sa People's Republic of China, Trade and Investments.

Ang mga awardees naman para sa Major Contributions category ay sina Regina Rosa Texon,

Director ng Satellite Office si Vice President Sara Duterte sa Davos City,

at Jose Ongtahan, dating President ng APCU Baguio at ating Chairman ng Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce sa Baguio City.

Ang purpose ng ating awards, pagbibigyan ng awards, para mag-promote ng Filipino-Chinese understanding

at para magkakilala ng lubusan ng mga magkakaibigan ng bansa.

Right before the 48th anniversary of China-Philippine diplomatic ties and 22nd Chinese-Filipino Friendship Day,

and other laureates of the award and appreciation to APCU for organizing thoughtfully this event.

Samantala ayon kay dating Sen. Nikki Cosateng, mahalaga na mabigyan ng importansyang ugnayan ng Pilipinas at China dahil ang China ay hindi kailanman nagdulot ng away sa mga karating bansa at sa rehyon na kinabibilangan nito.

"... Ang mahalaga na nabigyan ng importansya ang mga nagawa ng mga tumulong na masimento. Hindi lang dapat magandang relasyon, dapat simento talaga. Simentado ang Philippine-Chinese relations. Una-una yan ang ating kapitbahay. So mas maganda kung magkaibigan tayo sa ating kapitbahay. Pangalawa, dapat natin kilalanin na yung ating kapitbahay wala pang ginagawang gulo sa buong mundo."

Ganito din ang biligyan din Tigayang Province Governor Manuel Bamba kung saan sinabi nito na magiging mas mabilis ang paglagon ng bansa kung makikipagtulungan ito sa mga kalapit bansa at hindi pakikialaman na anumang puwersa na nasa labas ng rehyon.
