Kinumpirma ng Manila International Airport Authority o MIAA na wala namang na-cancel ang flights pero may 7 flights ang naitalang nadelay, Bonsod ng panibagong outage sa Naia Terminal 3 na umabot ng 37 minuto.

Sa panayam kay MIAA Officer-in-Charge Brian Ko, nangyari ang power outage sa Naia Terminal 3 dakong alas 12.52 ng hapon at muling na ibalik ang kuryente sa paliparan ng alauna 29 ng hapon, Araw ng Viernes.

Paglilinaw ni Ko, ito ay Bonsod sa sinagawang power system audit ng MIAA umaga ng Viernes.

Anya, naging matagumpay naman ang audit at review sa power system.

Yun nga lamang, nang muling i-energize ito, nagkaroon ng shutdown sa Roadway 1 at Roadway 2 at dito nalaman na may naiwan palang test equipments sa isa sa mga aparatos ng substation.

Bunga rin ito, mahaba ang pila sa immigration counter sa Naia Terminal 3.

Paliwanag nito, ito'y nareboot ang mga computer pati na rin ang mga security screening machine ng Office for Transportation Security.

Sa mga computers po ng immigration at sa OTS ng mga x-ray machines natin, just like any equipment, kapag nagkaroon po ng brief power interruption, kailangan po nila mag-reset.

So kaya po nag-hold muna ng pila pumasok, hindi muna pinapasok yung pasahero kasi nga nag-reboot yung ating systems.

So as soon as nag-reboot naman ito yung systems, actually before 2 o'clock po nawala na po yung pila natin sa immigration at tuloy-tuloy na po ulit ang pagpaproceso.
