Tapos ang sabi naman ni Tony, baka hindi niya alam 8% ng FDI pumalis na sa Pilipinas noong 2022. Sige nga Art, pakisagot yung dalawang yan. Yung isa e corruption, yung isa naman nag-aalisan na rin ang investor.

Ngayon sa Davos, may siyam na kumpanya dayuhan ang mag-i-invest sa Pilipinas. Pero ano ba siyam na yan? Ayaw nga nilang pangalanan. Dalawa lang ang binanggit nila, yung Morgan Stanley na galing ng US at isang kumpanya na nakabasis sa Dubai,

yung DB Powers na interesado sa energy source sa Pilipinas. Pero dalawa lang yan. Ngayon kung idadagdag mo pa yung mga pangako sa iyo o pledges,

bilhin ako lang yan, yung sinasabi ni Bongbong na nakakuha siya ng P22M mula Indonesia, P8M mula sa Singapore, ganito-ganito. Ngayon hindi niya sinabi kung ilan ang bilyon-bilyon na nakuha niya sa Davos.

Ang sinabi niya lang meron siyam na mag-i-invest. Pero dalawa lang ang pinangalanan niya. Nung pumunta sa Belgium, may sinasabi siya, interesado mga Tagay Ropong mag-invest.

Panay pambubudol yung ginagawa niya. Tapos yung sinasabi niya, pledges lang yan, pangako sa iyo, pangako sa iyo, bibigyan kita ng kwarta.

Yung palay-palay, salita lamang yan ang pangako sa iyo ni Bongbong, pati tayo inuuto, binubudol. Kaya wala yan, panay pangako sa iyo yan.

Kaya kung maniniwala ka dyan, parang naniwala sa taliano gold. Bakit taliano gold dyan? Kasi galing sa mga ita, kaya italiano, kaya wala yan.

Para kayong umasa sa udalo ng kamote, kaya mag-peace kayo, magutom. Yan ang kahihintnan ng mga nagpapaniwala sa pambubudol ni Marcos Munguet Jr.

Kasi para tayong, I think pinaliwala ko ng isang ligo. Ang narratibo nila Marcos nila Jokno, ang tinapos ko, ekonomiya rin at negosyo. So binabasa ko ang mga comments nila Jokno objectively pati sila Marcos.

Tingnan nyo po ang kwento nila. Kating-kati sila. Kating-kati sa foreign investment. Sige nga po, sa isang bansang atrasado po, developing country, katulad ng Taiwan, Korea po, recent lang umasenso yan. Very recent lang, 60s yan, 70s, nag-asenso sila.

Tingnan nyo po kung ilang porsyento yung FDI, foreign direct investment. Baka umabot lang po ng mga 1%. Hindi po yun nagpa-5, nagta-10%. Anong ibig kong sabihin po?

Sa isang ekonomiya na binubuo mo pa lang, sa totoo lang po, dapat proteksyonista ka. Isasara mo ang ekonomiya mo. Kumbaga, papasukin mo lang selectively kung talagang wala na kayo. But otherwise po, poproteksyonan mo.

Ganyan din po ang ginawa ng Canada at Europa. At ganyan po ang ginagawa ng US due at dahit ng COVID. Ang sarili nilang industry pinoproteksyonan nila. Ilang milyong binuhus ng America para sa mga magsasakarito, lalo na sa California.

Ang punto po natin, yung less than 1% na FDI, foreign direct investment ng Taiwan, Korea, even po ang China, umusad po ang kanilang ekonomiya.

Ang FDI natin ng Pilipinas, umabot na for the last I think 7 years, umabot po 29%. O nasaan tayo ngayon? Hindi ka naman kailangang ekonomista po para malaman na pag pinapasok mo ang mga dayuwang produkto, yung commodities nila, sibuyas, palay, even yung galunggong, pag pinapasok mo yan, pinapatayong lokal na produkto.

Hindi mo pwedeng ilabay yung sarili produkto during the time na bumubuo ka pa lang ng ekonomiya mo. Wala pong ganoon. Pag malakas ka na, saka mo ibubukas.

Kaya yung pinaggagawa nila sa Davos po, walang kainat yan mga kaibigan dahil mabubulok at mabubulok ang sarili nating industriya.

Sabi ni Fer, kawawang magsasaka ng sibuyas na lugi dahil sa importasyon, sanhi, sa apat na magsasaka, nagpakamatay dahil sa pagkalugi. Tapos sabi ang kapal ng mukha ni Marcos.

I think magandang yan, yung sufferings ng magsasaka. Parang grabe na may nagpakamatay na. Na-report na yan sa Senate. Any thoughts on that Art?

Bakit? Importasyon. At isa pa, sa kasaysayan ng mundo, walang bansa na umunlad lang sa pamamagitan ng pangungutang at investment. Maniwala kayo sa akin. O bakit? Anong mga katotohanan yan?

Sabi ni Ago, yung Korea, yung Japan, nawasak yan ng World War II. Nangutang ba yan? Naghanap ba ng mga investor yan? Namasyal ba yan? Nagpunta ba yan ng Davos yan? Namamalimos o magnegosyo kayo sa Pilipinas?

Walang pagkalaki-laki. Wala naman silbi ang kanilang pagpunta sa ibang bansa. Meron bang kinabangang Pilipinas sa mga lamyerda ni Bongbong? Wala. Walang bansa na may sariling bait ang nabuhay lang sa investment.

Ang investment o pangungutang, dagdag lang yan kung ano ang kulang, yan ang kanilang utangin. Hindi uutang ka at aasa ka sa pautang. Kaya ngayon di umunlad ng Pilipinas.

Ang Pilipinas umunlad noong araw hanggang 1972 sa panahon ng Marcos. Pero nung nagka-utang-utang tayo at naka-panainvestment ang kinahanap natin sa labas, lalong nabulok ang Pilipinas.

Pero tingnan nyo, ang Korea, ang Singapore, ang Indonesia, lalo-lalo ang Vietnam. Ang Vietnam na durong yan ang Vietnam War. Pero nakatayo sa pagkaraan ng 30 taon, hindi nang utang yan.

Hindi namasyal yan para mahingi ng investment. Bumangon sila sa kanilang sariling pagsisikap pero nakita natin umunlad. Kasi may self-respect, may respeto sa sarili.

Hindi mo ibebenta ang bansa mo katulad ng ginawa ng Senado na nagpasa ng batas ng 100% para sa mga daiwan para manganyak lang ng investment. Tingnan nyo ang Rusia. Ang Russia mula pa noong 1917, umasa sa sarili nila.

Dahil meron silang gasolina, meron silang ibang natural resources, umasa sila sa taong bayan, hindi sila umasa sa pautang, hindi sila umasa sa ibang bansa, umasa sila sa sarili nila.

Kaya ngayon kahit anong gawin ng European Union, kahit anong gawin ng US, hindi nila mapapanood ng Russia. Kasi ang Russia may sariling dangal, may karangalan, may pinaglalaban at umaasa sa taong bayan, hindi sa pautang, hindi sa pagpapalimos.

Yan ang aral sa natin sa mundo. Pero pag ang mga pinuno mo, katulad ni Bongbong Marco, hindi na naman mali mo, walang mangyayari sa ating bayan, lalo lalo na tayo maguguwon sa kumunoy ng kairapan.
