So well first I guess what the PED is saying and what schools are saying is that una yung curriculum nila is very congested. So kahit in the classroom medyo congested yung kinakailangan nilang matutunan in terms of subjects. That may translate if madagdagan pa ng homework.

That might also mean more homework at the end of the day during school hours or over the weekends. Anecdotally in many of our consultations and listening sessions, homework does come out as one of the biggest complaints of students and parents na it really spills over sa weekend.

So we see that there is value in homework. However, excessive homework can be counterproductive nga as I shared kasi meron mental health issues.

In terms of the workload, and I can speak anecdotally from multiple listening sessions that we have,

they do spend more, I guess more than two hours of homework at home.
