4-6 st. lemon grass
4 pcs. kafir lime leaves
3 in ginger, sliced
fish sauce
4 cups water
1 pack sampaloc mix or 2 tbsp. tamarind paste
1 tbsp. tomato paste
splash, calamansi/lime juice
4 pcs. labuyo, slice
sugar to taste
5 pcs. egg yolks
boil for 5 mins, and then remove lemon grass
for creamy tom yum, add in ½ cup evaporated milk
