Pabor aniya si Pamplona, Negros Oriental Mayor Janice Degamo na isailalim ang mga suspek sa pagpatay sa kaniyang asawang si governor Roel Degamo sa Witness Protection Program para malaman kung sino ang mastermind sa krimen.
Pinatotohanan din niya ang naging pahayag ni Justice Sec. Boying Remulla kung saan mayroon na umanong itinuturong tao sa likod ng pagpatay matapos umamin ang mga suspek na naka-video call nila umano ang mastermind sa krimen.
"Wala kaming pinag-usapang pangalan, pero totoo po na medyo malakas talaga 'yung evidence na na-gather to bring down the culprit, the mastermind," ani Degamo.
Nang tanungin naman ang alkalde sa ukol sa kaniyang kaligtasan sa gitna ng imbestigasyon, iginiit niyang hindi mapipigilan ng takot ang pagkamit ng hustisya sa pagkamatay ng kaniyang asawa.
