Philippine House Speaker Martin Romualdez seeks a congressional inquiry into alleged security lapses

on the day Negros Oriental Governor Ruel DeGamo was killed.
03:29.0
Romualdez wants to determine whether there was failure to provide enough security for the slain official.
03:35.0
This as he notes five of six police escorts of DeGamo did not report for duty on March 4th, the day he was gunned down.
03:42.0
Authorities meanwhile confirmed a confiscated firearm from suspects in the killing of DeGamo was used in the crime.
04:10.0
Four of the alleged gunmen are in police custody while a fifth was killed in a firefight with security forces.
04:19.0
Meanwhile, six employees of embattled house lawmaker Arnulfo Tevez Jr. under police custody.
04:25.0
They were present during a series of raids in Tevez's properties last week.
04:30.0
Police say four more people remain at large, including Tevez.
04:34.0
The lawmaker is tagged in the death of Governor DeGamo.
04:37.0
It's still unclear when Tevez would return to the country from the U.S.,
04:41.0
even as his travel clearance from the House of Representatives expired on last Thursday.
04:49.0
Six Philippine Army battalions officially deployed to Negros Oriental just a week after the assassination of Governor DeGamo.
04:56.0
This is part of government's efforts to step up the joint law enforcement operations with the Philippine National Police in the province.
05:03.0
The deployment is aimed at easing the tension in the province.
05:06.0
It also seeks to encourage witnesses in the killing of DeGamo to come forward.
05:11.0
We are looking in the entirety of the peace and order of the entire island of Negros.
05:17.0
Because anything that happens here in Oriental sometimes spills over with Negros Occidental.
05:24.0
The remains of all six passengers of the Cessna plane that crashed in Isabela have been brought to the town proper of Tibilakan.
05:35.0
From there, the bodies will be transported to Hawaiian City by the Philippine Air Force where the weather improves.
05:42.0
The bodies were retrieved days after the discovery of the plane on March 9.
05:47.0
The plane was reported missing on January 24, shortly after taking off from the town of Bacolod.
06:09.0
The retrieval team also aims to recover the plane's emergency transmitter.
06:13.0
In other news, the remains of four siblings who were killed in Cavite are set to be buried on Tuesday.
06:19.0
The victims, all minors, were found lifeless last week inside their home in Trece Martires City after being killed by their mother's live-in partner.
06:27.0
The mother's employer in Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, pledged assistance to the family.
06:31.0
Nearly P50,000 worth of aid was also provided by the Overseas Workers' Welfare Administration.
06:37.0
Magbibigay po kami ng livelihood assistance, yung Balikanak-Buhay program, and then the special financial assistance.
06:51.0
In other news, a fire broke out at a plastic factory in Lupa Beaches.
06:55.0
Our correspondent Andrea Taguines joins us for more updates. Andrea, go ahead.
06:59.0
Nikki, after about seven hours, since this fire here in this plastics factory behind me in Nagkaisang Nayon,
07:07.0
Novaliches and Quezon City began, now it's already considered a fire under control.
07:14.0
It started before 12 a.m. and it even reached up to fourth alarm,
07:18.0
which means local firemen had to evacuate the area.
07:21.0
According to the BFP, the blaze originated from the barracks of the factory employees.
07:29.0
But it's still uncertain what caused the fire exactly.
07:33.0
We spoke with one of the stay-in workers and he said that when he woke up, his room was already ablaze.
07:39.0
He tried to put it out, but he ran to safety when he realized that the fire had already started.
07:45.0
The other stay-in employees also managed to evacuate.
07:51.0
Sir, the fire extinguisher can't do it.
07:53.0
Sir, where are the fire extinguishers?
07:57.0
Sir, where are the fire extinguishers?
08:01.0
Sir, I don't know.
08:07.0
Nikki, right now, the fire is still under control.
08:11.0
Nikki, right now, we're still seeing some gray smoke coming out of the factory,
08:18.0
but that's already much lighter than the one that we were seeing earlier this morning.
08:23.0
We were able to ask the chief of BFP, Quezon City,
08:28.0
why it took them so long to get the fire under control and this is what he said.
08:32.0
This fire requires a lot of water.
08:39.0
You know how plastic is.
08:41.0
If there's a little bit left and there's no water left, the fire will start again.
08:50.0
That's why we need to supply water in order to put out the fire.
09:00.0
Nikki, we also met a family a while ago who lived inside the compound where the burning factory was situated.
09:12.0
They refused to go on camera, but they told us that they were all safe
09:16.0
and that they were able to save most of their things.
09:19.0
The local village officials are currently assisting them
09:24.0
as they transfer to the home of one of their in-laws in Malabon.
09:30.0
Meanwhile, some roads going here to Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon in Novaliches have been closed due to the fire.
09:36.0
Back to you, Nikki.
09:38.0
Alright, you and the team stay safe. Thanks, Andy.
09:44.0
Members of the Japanese Coast Guard now in Polatown in the province of Oriental Mindoro
09:49.0
to help contain the oil spill caused by a sunken tanker.
09:52.0
The Japanese experts are expected to conduct a site visit
09:55.0
in assessment of villages affected by the oil spill today.
09:58.0
The Philippines earlier sought help from Japan and the U.S. to contain the oil spill.
10:06.0
To discuss this issue further, we are joined this morning by Pola Oriental Mindoro Mayor Jennifer Cruz.
10:11.0
Mayor Cruz, good morning. Welcome to the program.
10:13.0
Good morning, Atty. Mayor. Good morning.
10:16.0
Alright, Mayor, have you met with members of the Japanese Coast Guard?
10:20.0
What exactly will they be doing?
10:22.0
How will they be able to assist you in containing the oil spill and assessing the damage?
10:28.0
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. We met with the Japanese people.
10:34.0
And they are part of the risk reduction, they are partners of the Philippines.
10:41.0
They said that what our Coast Guard is doing is right.
10:47.0
Yung pag-contain and yung paglalagay ng mga oil spill booms is tama yun.
10:54.0
11:05.0
And tama naman daw po lahat.
11:07.0
11:23.0
13:07.0
At ano so far ang impact sa inyo? Ano ang naging umabot sa Dalampasigan? Ano ang mga na-apektohan so far?
13:18.0
Yung 11 barangays po natin affected po yun. Ang malala po kasi 5 barangay.
13:23.0
13:39.0
13:48.0
Papunta na pang lugar ulit yung oil spill. So kawawa naman po yung iba.
13:53.0
Di ko kawawa. So as soon as possible matapos na po talaga.
14:11.0
Kung kailangan gawin po yan, tingin ko gawin na nila as soon as possible.
14:15.0
14:46.0
15:02.0
Kawawa naman po yung ibang madadamage. Yung barge at plant fossils po natin kailangan ingatan natin.
15:09.0
Dapat as soon as possible, gawin mo lang paraan talaga.
15:13.0
Jeyo, yung sinasabong pasabugin yung tanker, medyo mahirap yata. Baka mas lalong masira yung biodiversity dun sa area.
15:21.0
15:25.0
Because I understand kailangan magpadala pa ng machine para hanapin kung nasaan talaga yun.
15:30.0
15:34.0
More or less, alam na po nila kung nasaan yung oil tanker.
15:39.0
Sabi nila kailangan ilocate pa talaga para mag-accurate yung kanilang...
15:44.0
15:53.0
I understand 800,000 liters yun ng oil, Mayor, at kailangang isiphon off.
16:00.0
Kung higupin yung oil nandun sa tanker just to make it safe for the neighboring areas.
16:09.0
But Mayor, have you consulted a marine biologist as to the impact of the oil spill on the marine life in the area?
16:17.0
As of now, wala po.
16:24.0
Kasi right now ang iniintindi po namin yung shoreline namin paglinis and yung mga fisher folks namin.
16:30.0
Yung focus ko po ngayon is your programs, focus po ako sa mga fisher folks, focus po ako sa shoreline, sa paglinis.
16:38.0
Other than that po, wala pa po akong idea.
16:42.0
17:22.0
So I'm very much thankful po sa ating national government, sa ating Presidente.
17:26.0
17:43.0
17:48.0
Kaya lang after 15 days pa yan. For almost 11 days na po ngayon.
17:53.0
Wala po talaga silang trabaho. So siyempre umaangal po talaga sila dahil may utang po sila sa microfinance na yung babayaran nila.
18:02.0
18:32.0
19:50.0
Nag-declare po kami ng state of calamity.
20:09.0
20:20.0
So right now meron pong tulong.
21:53.0
22:50.0
During its first quarter meeting for 2023. At 10.30 in the morning, the legal counsels of lawmaker Arnulfo Tevez will be holding a press briefing to give updates and statements on the latest events involving the official. Tevez is being linked to the death of Negros Oriental Governor Robel De Campo.

stakeholders in the broadcast industry to establish mechanisms against fake news,
34:01.6
who would these other stakeholders be in what would be their role?
34:05.2
Well, yun nga, no. Again, it's a little vague, but we're hoping that it'll mean us, no,
34:11.2
the mainstream media or the professional media, but also journalists and educators, ganyan.
34:17.6
And that's actually a good thing. That's one of the things that struck me from the statement,
34:22.8
that they're willing to collaborate. Aside from the private sector, they will be working with
34:28.6
the Philippine Commission for Women, for example, and that. So fighting this information really

does take a hold of nation, medyo corny, but it does take a hold of nation, hold of society
34:38.8
approach. And if we're going to limit ourselves to that, equipping the audience with critical
34:45.3
thinking skills or learning to evaluate our sources of information, then that would be great.
34:54.6
One issue here would be if that campaign would stray into saying what sources of information
35:00.7
you should be looking at, or what sources of information are dangerous for you, that sort of
35:05.8
thing. So if you're going to stick to the skills, then that's great.
35:09.6
Mm-hmm. Since you mentioned the sources of information, the first step towards this end
35:16.0
is identifying reliable and credible sources of information in the first place. And how should
35:21.2
this be done or taught? How do we raise awareness without the need of censorship?
35:26.4
Okay. I think the biggest thing would be accountability. For example, if I write a story,
35:31.0
or if you come out with a story, then you know that if it's wrong, or if it turns out to be
35:36.1
misinformation or disinformation, then you know who to blame for it. You know who to hold to
35:40.6
account. You can probably send a complaint or something. So that's really the biggest thing.
35:47.7
How accountable are our information sources if their information is wrong?
35:55.0
And during the 2022 elections, Marcus Jr.'s presidential campaign was widely criticized
36:02.0
for allegedly employing disinformation to revamp his family name, particularly by
36:06.8
whitewashing the martial rule of his father, late former President Ferdinand Marcus Sr.
36:13.2
What are your thoughts on this, and why he actually wanted to smite his family's history?
36:19.1
Well, the election results have been debated. We've discussed, parang it's been discussed na,
36:24.5
pero, and we can't even actually say that they employed trolls, but we can definitely say that
36:29.0
they, it was to their advantage. So yan, there is that risk talaga of this firehose of information.
36:39.4
Basically, there's too much of it. So our audience has a hard time to discern fact from
36:49.4
fiction, basically.
36:52.2
And following this, as Marcus Jr. became the frontrunner in the May 2022 polls,
36:57.8
Agence France-Presse reported that many pro-Marcus' misinformation targets were
37:04.0
targeting his then main rival, former Vice President Lenny Rudredo. What are your thoughts on
37:09.5
how effective this campaign would be under this administration, given these allegations,
37:16.7
and how misinformation, disinformation can actually be used against specific people?
37:24.6
So yan nga, that's where the problem would lie. The government or the PCO, well, excuse me,
37:30.7
the PCOO, it's not the first time for them to launch a media literacy campaign or a digital
37:36.1
literacy campaign. In 2019, they had the disinformation campaign, for example,
37:42.1
and the Philippine Information Agency has had its Explain, Explain, Explain campaign for a while
37:48.9
now. And the thing is, it's usually used to, kasi the function really of the PCO is to be the
37:56.1
public relations arm of the government or of the palace. So medyo weird or medyo at cross-purposes
38:04.2
at times, there might be a tendency to dismiss critical reports or dismiss unflattering views
38:13.2
as fake news. And you've seen this also, now there are pushes in Congress, for example,
38:17.5
to criminalize so-called fake news. So yan nga yung danger na. It might be, in the guise of a
38:24.7
media literacy campaign, it could mean that it could be used to, for example, discredit or,
38:32.0
di nga bad mouth, but lower the credibility of certain media sources.
38:37.3
Following all this, we even have all sorts of media from different online platforms and
38:42.2
even movies trying to change the narrative plot in history books,
38:46.3
most especially since the EDSA people power revolution. How much of a challenge should
38:51.2
overcoming this issue be? And how do we make sure that truth is not really
38:56.3
not manipulated by a few in power? So yan nga. History has become parang a battle of opinions
39:02.8
now na parang fine, that's what's written in books, but this is what I believe or this is what
39:08.2
our parents or my grandparents told me. So there is a bigger need talaga for better,
39:15.1
hindi naman scholarship on history, but also this is also a call for us to raise the standards
39:22.4
of journalism in the sense that we have more solid sources, we back up all our stories.
39:28.3
I mean, we do that already, but kailangan mas solid yun yung background work, yung citation
39:37.2
of our information. But basically, it doesn't really matter naman parang tumaas yung level
39:45.6
of misinformation and disinformation, but the work has really stayed the same. So we should
39:50.4
keep doing that, but also while also trying to reach more people and yun nga, continuing to
39:56.8
raise our standards as a profession. All right, we'll continue hoping for and
40:02.0
working towards the best. Thank you so much for your insights and for joining us this morning,
40:05.5
Jonathan DeSantos of NUJP. Please stay safe. Thank you. Good morning.
41:36.4
So
41:43.8
mobility will be key to recovery because we have relaxed some of our quarantine methods and we
42:09.6
have allowed more transportation to come out. That's going to prove to be better for demand.
42:15.9
If we do follow the health protocols, the ability of people to move around will likely contribute
42:21.5
better to growth.
43:52.4
So
43:58.0
so
44:19.6
and back with more news, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to re-establish relations after years of
44:24.6
hostility. The deal was announced after four days of previously undisclosed talks in Beijing
44:29.8
between top security officials from the two rival Middle East powers. Tehran and Riyadh
44:34.9
will reopen their embassies within two months. The two sides also agreed to reactivate a 2001
44:40.6
security cooperation accord, as well as another earlier pact on trade, economy and investment.
44:46.5
Saudi Arabia cut ties with Iran in 2016 after its embassy in Tehran was stormed during a
44:52.2
dispute between the two countries over Riyadh's execution of a Shiite Muslim cleric. The rift
44:57.9
threatened stability and security in the Gulf and helped fuel conflicts in the Middle East
45:02.3
from Yemen to Syria. China's top diplomat Wang Yi describes the deal as a victory for dialogue and
45:09.0
peace, adding that Beijing would continue to play a constructive role in addressing tough global
45:14.6
issues. The United Kingdom is working to avoid or minimize damage resulting from the collapse
45:23.6
of Silicon Valley Bank. British Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt says they will bring forward immediate
45:29.5
plans to ensure the short-term operational and cash flow needs of the clients of the banks in UK
45:35.0
arm are met. Friday's dramatic failure of the US parent bank, which focuses on tech startups,
45:41.7
is the biggest since the 2008 financial crisis. Talks were held over the weekend involving Hunt,
45:48.0
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to discuss issues faced
45:54.4
by British tech companies affected by the collapse. Well, I think the first thing to
46:00.2
say is the Governor of the Bank of England has made it very clear there is no systemic risk to
46:05.9
our financial system. So, people should be reassured on that basis. But there is a serious
46:12.1
risk to our technology and life sciences sectors, many of whom bank with this bank that most people
46:18.4
won't have heard of, the Silicon Valley Bank, but it happens to look after the money of some of our
46:24.4
most promising and exciting businesses. And so, I want to reassure people. I've been in discussions
46:31.7
over the weekend until late last night with the Chancellor, with the Prime Minister, the Governor
46:36.0
of the Bank of England, many other people, and we are working at pace on a solution. We will bring
46:44.2
forward very soon plans to make sure people are able to meet their cash flow requirements,
46:49.7
pay their staff. But obviously, what we want to do is to find a longer-term solution that
46:55.0
minimises or even avoids completely losses to some of our most promising companies.
47:02.4
More than 250 UK tech firm chief executives have reportedly signed a letter addressed to Hunt,
47:08.4
calling for government intervention.
47:13.4
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says more than 1,000 Russian troops were killed
47:18.0
in clashes in the city of Bakhmut. He adds over 1,500 others were hurt.
47:23.1
Dozens of pieces of Russian equipment were also reportedly destroyed. Zelensky believes
47:28.0
the damage done will keep Russian forces out of further action in the Ukrainian city.
47:35.6
Fresh protests hit Greece as anger rose over the country's deadliest rail crash.
47:41.3
Thousands of protesters gathered outside parliament,
47:44.3
rationing the pressure on government over the tragedy.
47:47.6
Fifty-seven people, many of them students, were killed when a passenger's train and a freight
47:53.2
train collided last month. Government has come under fire for initially pointing to human error
47:58.7
as a cause of the accident. But railway unions have long been warning about problems on the
48:04.1
creaking understaffed train network. The British Broadcasting Corporation
48:11.2
embroiled in a controversy after the suspension of high-profile sportscaster Gary Lineker.
48:16.9
Lineker was taken off air after criticizing Britain's proposed legislation for immigrants.
48:21.6
BBC General Manager Tim Davey asserts he will not resign.
48:25.6
He also defends the move, saying the station is an impartial stand in politics.
48:56.2
NASA is expected to announce the first astronauts for its Artemis mission soon.
49:12.8
As this report tells us, compared to the earlier Apollo missions,
49:16.2
the crews for the agency's return to lunar exploration will be a little more diverse.
49:26.0
NASA knows how it will get astronauts back to the moon,
49:30.3
but the agency doesn't know yet is who it will send. Among the contenders is astronaut Stan Love.
49:36.9
So everybody in the astronaut office has the background, the basic training,
49:42.0
and the qualifications to go do that mission. And so everybody's hoping that their name will
49:45.7
get called. The first missions to the moon could launch as early as 2024.
49:50.1
Love says the crews will look different than those of the Apollo program during the 1960s and 70s.
49:55.6
We are going to broaden our demographics so it won't be just white guys on the moon.
49:59.7
Victor Glover could make history as the first person of color to reach the moon.
50:04.0
We make our boss's job actually challenging. We make his job hard because he's got to pick
50:08.2
some of us. And I think all of us are ready, trained, and capable of making this mission a
50:12.5
success. The initiative to ensure diversity in NASA's Artemis program was outlined in the
50:17.6
Biden administration's $25 billion funding request to Congress for NASA for fiscal year 2022,
50:24.4
which includes the moon missions. Apollo had a twin sister, Artemis,
50:28.6
and this is our generation. And so I think it's a fantastic thing.
50:31.8
Branielle Rodriguez works on the Orion capsule that will transport the astronauts.
50:36.2
She is proud to participate in an historic project that will also bring the first woman to the moon.
50:41.5
I think it's important for all of us, right? Whether it is a man or a woman, I think it's
50:45.9
fantastic. I think as an agency, as the nation, and even as the world, being able to show that
50:53.2
we can explore as humans back to the surface of the moon is really what we need to go off and show
50:57.4
and really be able to then set our presence to go beyond.
51:00.2
To do this once would feel like you're performing.
51:05.8
Danielle Bell teaches marketing and communications at Northwestern University.
51:09.7
She focuses on issues of diversity and inclusion,
51:12.8
and welcomes NASA's initiative, which she hopes is permanent.
51:16.2
When they're transformative and not performative, that happens when the organization
51:24.5
lives their values.
51:26.0
Women make up one third of the current group of 41 astronauts at NASA. 12 are people of color.
51:32.3
While 16 are experienced pilots, the rest are experts in fields such as geology,
51:37.6
medicine, and engineering, bringing professional diversity to the core.
51:41.8
Bell says that makeup suggests that skin color or gender
51:45.2
won't likely drive the decision on who goes first.
51:48.4
What I can appreciate about this mission is that it's not just about diversity,
51:54.0
it's not just about representation. You've got an entire pool that is of diverse backgrounds.
52:01.5
People keep asking me, you know, is it meaningful to you that little black kids
52:04.8
look up to you and say they want to be like you? I represent America.
52:08.1
And little white kids, little Mexican kids, little Hispanic kids, little
52:11.2
Iranian kids follow what we're doing because this is maybe one of the most
52:15.2
recognizable symbols in the universe.
52:17.3
NASA is expected to announce the crew for Artemis 2,
52:20.5
a mission that will orbit but not land on the moon, on April 3rd.
52:24.5

52:30.1
And switching gears now, the sixth installment in the Scream franchise,
52:34.6
arrives in theaters. Let's find out what our resident movie critic,
52:37.8
Manny the Movie Guy, thinks of Hollywood's newest slasher film.
52:47.5
Hello. Let's play a game.
52:49.9
You know you're like the 10th guy to try this, right?
52:52.2
The serial slasher Scream franchise keeps getting better with this sixth installment.
52:57.9
But there's never been one like me, Gale.
52:59.8
The location is new, but Ghostface is as menacing and unpredictable as ever.
53:06.1
That's why I'm going to shoot you.
53:08.8
Part satire, part dark comedy with a whodunit mystery twist.
53:13.3
Scream 6 is grounded in family issues and the deep and twisted secrets we all keep.
53:22.1
You got a problem here, guy?
53:23.9
Most of the cast members from the last Scream return,
53:27.0
leaving Woodsboro, California behind, to start a fresh but bloody chapter in the Big Apple.
53:38.5
There's a relentlessness that is unique to this specific Ghostface.
53:42.4
Matt Bettinelli, Olpin, and Tyler Gillette return to helm the sequel.
53:46.8
The veteran horror directors, founding members of the filmmaking collective Radio Silence,
53:52.3
know how to thrill the audience and give a great pay-off.
54:00.7
Scream 6 is a bit violent, but it's a worthy successor of last year's Scream
54:06.1
and one of the best entries of the franchise.
54:12.0
And for that, Scream 6 gets 3 out of 4 Scream Your Heart Away kisses.
54:18.3
I meant the movie guy for ABS-CBN Media.
54:21.8
So let's finish this.
54:29.1
Part of the BBC Athenian News.
54:31.7
Right, and it's Hollywood's biggest night.
54:34.3
The champagne-colored carpet is laid out and all set for the Oscars 2023.
54:39.5
A crisis response team is on standby at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles
54:43.3
in case of an unexpected twist.
54:45.6
Yet again, the group was formed after last year's so-called The Slap
54:50.0
when Will Smith hit Chris Rock on stage.
54:52.9
The show will begin at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and that's 8 in the morning Manila time.
55:01.0
And before we go, the rock band Simple Plan returns to the Philippines after over a decade,
55:05.6
but local celebrities graze the gala night of the Manila production of The Sound of Music.
55:10.4
MJ Felipe tells us more.
55:11.8
It's been 11 long years since Canadian rock band Simple Plan stepped foot on Philippine soil.
55:17.9
And now they are back and show their Filipino fans that they still got it.
55:22.7
Playing at a sold-out show Friday night at the New Frontier Theater,
55:26.5
the crowd was treated with some good old Simple Plan rock music.
55:30.1
We really are realizing now that we should not be waiting this long between trips to the Philippines.
55:34.5
Right.
55:35.1
Um, so we have no excuse.
55:37.0
All we can do is take accountability and make up for it in the future and come back more often.
55:42.0
In our sit-down interview, the band expressed how the short video streaming platform TikTok
55:47.4
gave their band and their music new life.
55:50.0
It was after their song, I'm Just a Kid, went viral with the Kid Adult Growing Up Challenge.
55:55.7
And since that TikTok viral, I'm Just a Kid challenge, it has become the biggest streaming song that we have.
56:01.5
By far.
56:02.0
And it's meant a lot to us.
56:03.8
It's made people discover us that wouldn't have discovered us in the past.
56:07.2
After Manila, their next stop is Davao on Sunday, March 12.
56:12.5
Theater fans and friends of the cast members of The Sound of Music attended the Gala Night of the Musical
56:19.6
at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.
56:23.2
You need someone older and wiser
56:27.2
You need someone older and wiser
56:35.0
From the Von Trapp kids, to the nuns,
56:41.0
to the lead stars, including our local talents, Kareel and Marky Strom,
56:45.2
had a great time having their photos taken with all the guests.
56:48.7
Local celebrities graced the show last night, including Kareel's mom, Chacha Padilla,
56:53.5
together with her partner Conrad Onglao, Janice DeBelen, Kim Chuen-Cien Lim, Donny Pangilinan,
57:00.3
theater actor Carlo Orosa, and Kareel's husband, Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon.
57:06.0
I'm really proud of her. She's always been a theater person and for her to finally do this theater thing again,
57:11.2
it's just nice to see her. It's like a fish in her pond.
57:14.3
I'm super proud because I have seen them grow in the theater when they started.
57:19.5
Everybody knows this award-winning piece, The Sound of Music. It's such an iconic musical.
57:27.3
And aside from that, they are surrounded by wonderful, wonderful, creative people,
57:34.4
very well-trained, and of course, their director.
57:38.2
I have a plane and a diesel yacht

57:47.3

58:07.3
The greatest disruptor of all time is actually COVID-19.
58:10.7
Because of limited mobility, people are also not being able to go to physical branches, etc.
58:16.0
It further accelerated the adoption of consumers of digital channels.
58:21.7
We are now being able to provide the services needed by our citizens, by our consumers.
