The camp of Negros Oriental 3rd district representative Arnulfo Tevez Jr. confirms his request for a two-month leave of absence was denied by House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

His legal counsel, Ferdinand Topacio, says they are planning to appeal the speaker's decision.

Romualdez has given Tevez until March 20th to come home and report for work.

The decision released on Friday said there was no proof that Murillo fired at the police officers during a by-bus raid in the Payatas area.
