00:34.0
Let's keep talking.
00:36.0
Kaibigan, tuloy ang usap.
00:39.0
Musika
00:56.0
Naitan po ka kititugod siya.
00:58.0
Musika
01:05.0
Ngayon po ako.
01:07.0
Explain that. Ipaliwanag mo sa akin.
01:10.0
01:27.0
Nag-uusap kayo ng maayos.
01:29.0
Nagpaliwanag po ako ng maayos.
01:31.0
Five months before my contract ended with him.
01:35.0
Dahil nababring up na po niya, like, in passing, na kung magrereno ka na sa akin, ganto na lang yung commission na kukunin ko sa'yo.
01:45.0
I felt out of respect that I needed to let him know what my plans were.
01:52.0
And I told him, nang maayos, nilinaw ko sa kanya, Tito OG, I'm grateful for you.
01:58.0
I'm so thankful for everything that I've achieved and experienced because of you and your guidance.
02:04.0
And I will forever hold in my heart the lessons that you have taught me.
02:09.0
It will forever be a part of me.
02:11.0
Sinabi ko yun sa text ko sa kanya.
02:13.0
Five months before your contract ended?
02:15.0
Yeah.
02:16.0
And then?
02:17.0
And sinabi ko sa kanya, but by the time that our contract ends, hindi na po ako magrereno.
02:23.0
And in-explained ko kung bakit.
02:26.0
Sinabi ko, we've been working together for 11 years now.
02:30.0
I was signed to a 10-year contract with him.
02:34.0
And not for anything.
02:38.0
It's not because I didn't like yung pinagsamahan namin.
02:42.0
Hindi po ako naging masaya sa career ko.
02:45.0
It's because I want growth.
02:47.0
And I believe that I can find that by working with other people.
02:51.0
By learning things from other people as well.
02:54.0
By taking on new experiences.
02:57.0
And super, like nung una natakot po ako sabihing sa kanya yun.
03:01.0
Kasi I didn't know kung paano niya itatake yun.
03:04.0
Pero yung response niya towards that message was very good.
03:08.0
He was very supportive and very understanding.
03:11.0
So ngayon, nagtatakpo po ako sa kanya.
03:16.0
Kasi even a few weeks ago, before ko nirelease po yung vlog ko.
03:20.0
Actually nung lanack out ko yung social media po.
03:24.0
Nag-message pa po siya sa akin.
03:25.0
Parang sabihing,
03:26.0
Nag, may tumutulong na ba sayo to get your social media accounts back?
03:30.0
Kasi akala niya nahack ako.
03:31.0
So we were okay.
03:33.0
So I don't understand why he is choosing to fight me.
03:40.0
It feels like he's trying to fight me or trying to ruin me.
03:43.0
When I never said a single bad thing about him.
03:46.0
But why do you say he is fighting you or trying to ruin you?
03:51.0
Because he's saying so many things that are untrue.
03:53.0
Like?
03:54.0
Like for the past two years, hindi po siya kumuha ng commission.
03:57.0
It makes me sound even more ungrateful to the people na hindi naman nakakaalam kung ano yung nangyayari sa loob.
04:04.0
He's calling me ungrateful when he knows very well how grateful I was to ABS-CBN.
04:10.0
Na kahit wala akong kontrata sa kanila.
04:12.0
I was doing so much work for them.
04:14.0
I was supporting them.
04:15.0
Noon na shut down yung ABS-CBN, I was one of the artists that rallied alongside them.
04:20.0
Because I didn't think it was fair na mangyayari yun sa lahat ng employees nila na nakakasama ko sa taping everyday.
04:26.0
I didn't think it was fair for them to lose their jobs.
04:29.0
He knew how grateful and thankful I was to everyone.
04:32.0
And alam, siya po mismo nagsabi, masunurin ako, mabait ako na bata.
04:37.0
So why is he trying to say things to make people turn against me?
04:45.0
What are these things that he's saying?
04:47.0
Calling me ungrateful.
04:49.0
Saying that I didn't pay him commission.
04:53.0
Just everything that he's been saying in his vlogs recently.
04:58.0
Parang sinabi niya pa a few weeks ago na parang nasasayangan siya sa career ko.
05:05.0
He could have talked to me.
05:06.0
We had a good relationship.
05:08.0
Pwede siyang magtanong sakin, what are you up to anak?
05:11.0
Anong plano mo? Anong ginagawa mo?
05:13.0
Nobody has reached out.
05:15.0
He didn't reach out to me.
05:16.0
Why don't you reach out?
05:18.0
When he messages me, I reply to him.
05:20.0
But regarding this issue, he took things publicly without reaching out to me privately first.
05:26.0
So I didn't feel the need to message him privately.
05:30.0
That's where your pain is coming from?
05:31.0
Yes.
05:33.0
And anak pa manmin yung tawag niya sakin.
05:36.0
Gagawin niya ba yun sa mga anak niya?
05:39.0
Would he have done that to his daughters? He has five daughters.
05:43.0
What do you want to say to him?
05:47.0
Sana kinausap niya man lang ako.
05:50.0
You know, because before naman whenever we would have problems, we would talk it out.
05:56.0
Dito, kung na-hurt siya sa mga sinabi ko, sana sinabi niya muna sakin personally.
06:02.0
Instead of treating me like everyone else in the industry that he talks about on his channel,
06:09.0
he should have talked to me kasi parang naman wala kaming pinagsamahan.
06:14.0
Parang hindi niya ako anak kahit nakitawag niya sakin.
06:17.0
Because he's treating me like everyone else in the industry.
06:20.0
You wouldn't dare call him?
06:23.0
I'm just not ready.
06:24.0
Let's go to the jealous of the flowers.
06:28.0
What was that?
06:29.0
I created a poem like that, but then later on they were like,
06:33.0
what do you really mean by this?
06:35.0
Well, what I meant was, I feel like I'm a flower where I'm bound to the ground that I am planted in.
06:45.0
And everybody looks at me and just expects me to stay like that forever.
06:53.0
To keep, to maintain that beauty, to just be a flower.
06:57.0
But then there's so much more that I feel like I'm capable of.
07:01.0
But then there's so much more that I feel like I'm capable of, that I can be.
07:07.0
And so we came up with the idea of, I wonder if flowers dream.
07:12.0
Do they dream of flying?
07:14.0
Do they dream of not being in that same garden forever?
07:18.0
Dancing against the wind.
07:20.0
Yes.
07:21.0
Shredding the petals as they ascend.
07:23.0
Yes.
07:24.0
That's when it came about.
07:26.0
Yes.
07:28.0
I get it. It's beautiful.
07:29.0
Okay.
07:30.0
I want to move on to the 13 years, 25 years old, I was never asked for my inputs.
07:35.0
Six feature films, 500 episodes of teleseries.
07:40.0
Three genres, romance, comedy, and drama.
07:43.0
16 years old.
07:44.0
One main co-star.
07:46.0
Same production company.
07:47.0
Rotating around three directors.
07:50.0
I was never asked for inputs, thoughts, or ideas.
07:52.0
I'm just repeating this.
07:54.0
Again, Liza, it sounded like a protestation.
07:57.0
But you became a superstar.
07:59.0
After hearing your thoughts on that, I totally, I believe that I could have explained myself better.
08:07.0
I won't take that back though.
08:08.0
What I said is true.
08:10.0
Those are all facts.
08:11.0
I was just stating facts and trying to help my fans, my family, my friends,
08:18.0
everybody that was questioning my decisions, why I was changing.
08:25.0
I only wanted to be in a love team.
08:27.0
I only wanted to work alongside Ken.
08:30.0
I only wanted to work with these three directors that I was enumerating.
08:33.0
I only wanted to work with these creatives because they were the reasons,
08:38.0
in my mind and to everybody's, you know, what everybody thinks of me as,
08:42.0
they are the reason for my success.
08:44.0
And that's exactly what I thought.
08:46.0
That's exactly how I felt.
08:48.0
I was scared to go beyond that because I thought that
08:50.0
if Ken and I separate, if we're not a love team anymore, I won't be successful.
08:56.0
If these three directors don't work with me, the film won't be seen.
09:01.0
The film won't be good.
09:03.0
And I think, looking back, that mindset that I had, that notion that I had was wrong.
09:09.0
Because, yes, they will be good directors.
09:12.0
Yes, they made me famous.
09:14.0
Yes, they made my movies, my TV films successful.
09:17.0
But I don't want to say that other directors and creatives aren't capable of doing that.
09:21.0
They just need an opportunity.
09:23.0
But you take full responsibility of the choices.
09:25.0
Yes, of those choices.
09:27.0
It was an enumeration.
09:29.0
It was an enumeration.
09:31.0
You were not complaining, you were not protesting.
09:33.0
I was not complaining.
09:35.0
Yes, but now it's time for me to grow as an individual.
09:38.0
That's what you wanted to say.
09:40.0
I want to move on from where I am.
09:43.0
Yes, but I also want to clarify,
09:44.0
I wasn't offered solo projects aside from Darna.
09:48.0
Darna was the only solo project that was offered to me.
09:51.0
But why didn't Darna continue?
09:54.0
Okay.
09:56.0
I explained that before in a TV patrol interview with M.J. Filipe,
10:01.0
that it was because of my finger.
10:03.0
But there's more to that than just that.
10:06.0
It was severely affecting my mental health.
10:09.0
And that's when I had all those realizations
10:12.0
that I wanted to do more while doing Darna.
10:17.0
I prepared for Darna for two years.
10:20.0
I trained and even filmed.
10:23.0
I had eight shooting days with director Erick Martin.
10:28.0
Along the process, I was training every day
10:32.0
to be able to do Darna.
10:35.0
Along the process, I was training every day.
10:41.0
On the off days, I didn't have taping for Bagani.
10:44.0
I was training six hours a day.
10:46.0
I would even train when I had taping for Bagani,
10:48.0
and I would train on set.
10:50.0
I would train six times a week.
10:52.0
My only off day was Sunday.
10:54.0
No matter how skinnier I got,
10:56.0
no matter how much stronger I got,
10:58.0
it never felt like it was enough.
11:01.0
And that's because,
11:04.0
well, one, that's what people were telling me.
11:08.0
And two,
11:10.0
I started not believing in myself, too,
11:13.0
because of the pressure.
11:15.0
The management was constantly telling me
11:17.0
that this Darna needs to work.
11:20.0
It needs to become a success.
11:22.0
It needs to be the biggest Darna there ever was.
11:26.0
And I believe that that was all I could do.
11:30.0
It was all possible at first.
11:32.0
But then as we were going along,
11:34.0
I started losing belief in myself
11:37.0
because as I got skinnier,
11:40.0
they were upset that I was getting skinny.
11:43.0
And then when I would put on a little weight
11:46.0
because they wanted me to gain muscle,
11:48.0
I would be too overweight for the role.
11:51.0
So it's like I was never enough.
11:54.0
I was never pleasing them.
11:56.0
And so that was really affecting my body image,
11:58.0
my mental health.
12:00.0
I didn't think that I was deserving of the role anymore
12:04.0
and I didn't think that I could do it.
12:06.0
Did you back out? Were you fired?
12:08.0
I backed out three times.
12:10.0
I did so twice,
12:13.0
and that was before Bagani ended.
12:16.0
And that was because
12:18.0
they were taking me out of Bagani
12:20.0
and I was so scared that the love team was going to end.
12:23.0
And they were offering Ken projects without me.
12:28.0
And I didn't want the love team to end.
12:30.0
I was holding on to that
12:33.0
because it was my comfort zone.
12:35.0
And at the time, I thought that me and Ken
12:39.0
haven't achieved much compared to
12:42.0
the number one love team.
12:44.0
Let's go to another quote.
12:47.0
I obviously know it would be much easier
12:49.0
to just stick to what has been working for me,
12:52.0
to stay forever the same.
12:54.0
And I know and I understand that it's unfair to all
12:56.0
the Liza Soberano, Liz Ken fans.
12:59.0
But I hope you understand that by doing so,
13:01.0
by giving in to the pressure of doing
13:03.0
what everybody else wants for me,
13:05.0
I'm also, I'm being unfair to myself.
13:07.0
Hope Soberano.
13:09.0
I've sacrificed my childhood,
13:11.0
I've sacrificed my freedom,
13:13.0
and I've sacrificed my happiness
13:15.0
to present Liza Soberano to the world.
13:17.0
And I think I've earned the right to finally be me,
13:19.0
to finally be able to do things for me as Hope.
13:22.0
This sounds like you were abused.
13:24.0
But we didn't see this
13:26.0
because we didn't see you suffer publicly.
13:30.0
That was the disconnect.
13:32.0
Can you explain?
13:35.0
I wouldn't say I was abused.
13:37.0
I wasn't abused at all.
13:39.0
That's a strong word, I know.
13:41.0
Yeah, it's a strong word.
13:43.0
But I was hard on myself
13:45.0
because of the demands of the industry.
13:47.0
You were hard on yourself.
13:49.0
I was hard on myself
13:51.0
because of the demands of the industry.
13:53.0
The management had certain
13:56.0
requirements from us.
14:00.0
I was constantly pressured to
14:04.0
stay
14:06.0
at the level that I was at
14:08.0
or go beyond that, past that.
14:11.0
And
14:13.0
because of that, I made certain decisions.
14:16.0
I would refrain from saying certain things
14:19.0
because I'm a very opinionated person.
14:21.0
Everybody knows that about me.
14:23.0
But there's more that I could have said.
14:24.0
There's more that I wanted to do.
14:26.0
But I held back
14:28.0
because that's not what was expected from me.
14:31.0
I wanted to go to Hollywood.
14:34.0
This isn't a secret
14:36.0
that I kept from the management.
14:38.0
They knew that.
14:40.0
I've always expressed that.
14:42.0
And it's not like they ever directly said no to me.
14:44.0
No, you can't go to Hollywood.
14:46.0
But it also wasn't being pushed for.
14:48.0
It wasn't being entertained.
14:51.0
And that's why
14:52.0
I was expressing in
14:54.0
the earlier parts of the video
14:56.0
that I was never asked for my input.
14:59.0
Because even when I would give my input,
15:01.0
it wasn't taken seriously.
15:03.0
Which was not necessarily wrong.
15:05.0
Which wasn't wrong.
15:07.0
Sticking to the formula that worked.
15:09.0
Yes.
15:11.0
Fans.
15:12.0
You mentioned fans.
15:14.0
How are you now?
15:16.0
I actually had a fans day the other day
15:18.0
with my solo fans
15:20.0
because it's our 10th year anniversary.
15:22.0
And they were very kind to me.
15:24.0
Actually, they felt that
15:26.0
in the past few years
15:28.0
that I was favoring
15:30.0
Liz Ken fans
15:32.0
over my solo fans.
15:34.0
They verbalized this.
15:36.0
They verbalized this.
15:38.0
And that was always an issue actually.
15:40.0
My solo fans always thought
15:42.0
that I preferred Liz Ken fans.
15:44.0
And that isn't true.
15:46.0
I love all my fans.
15:48.0
I'm grateful for all of my fans.
15:50.0
They also had certain requests
15:52.0
for me.
15:54.0
Of course, as a solo fan,
15:56.0
they wanted to see me grow
15:58.0
beyond the love team.
16:00.0
And that's also where the crossroads meet again.
16:02.0
I was getting these comments.
16:04.0
I was getting these requests
16:06.0
from my fans.
16:08.0
They were like,
16:10.0
we want to see you in this kind of film.
16:12.0
We want to see you do other things.
16:14.0
We don't want to see,
16:16.0
they even use the term
16:18.0
babebe Liza anymore.
16:20.0
And that's actually what started
16:22.0
a conflict in a love team.
16:24.0
I've only ever done romantic comedies.
16:26.0
They're expecting more from me.
16:28.0
You see, that's another point of conflict.
16:30.0
Because tonight,
16:32.0
I heard your explanation
16:34.0
that you were the one who didn't want
16:36.0
Ken to do solo projects.
16:38.0
You were afraid to get out of the love team
16:40.0
because of your comfort zone.
16:42.0
As opposed to this that I'm hearing now
16:44.0
that there are also fans who say
16:46.0
we want you to grow.
16:48.0
We want, you know,
16:50.0
hard to find the middle ground.
16:52.0
Because there are so many opinions,
16:54.0
so many voices.
16:56.0
Of course, Liz Ken fans wanted more Liz Ken.
16:58.0
Liza fans wanted more Liza.
17:00.0
Liza.
17:02.0
The industry wanted whatever works.
17:04.0
Right. So where do you go?
17:06.0
I go with whatever works.
17:08.0
Okay.
17:10.0
Even though I know deep down inside
17:12.0
that there's more that I could do.
17:14.0
Is this still what you're thinking about
17:16.0
until now?
17:18.0
Yes.
17:19.0
You will go for what works?
17:21.0
No.
17:23.0
Where are you now?
17:25.0
I want to take risks.
17:27.0
Because you are embarking
17:29.0
on a fresh new journey,
17:31.0
taking control of my life,
17:33.0
exciting, terrifying,
17:35.0
anxiety-filled, confusing,
17:37.0
again for your vlog,
17:39.0
but finally living my life.
17:41.0
The big question,
17:43.0
what if you fail?
17:46.0
At least I tried.
17:48.0
At least I have no regrets
17:50.0
that I didn't try this.
17:52.0
I didn't give my all.
17:54.0
I didn't give myself a chance
17:56.0
to discover what it is
17:58.0
that makes me happy,
18:00.0
what I find fulfillment in.
18:02.0
It's not that I didn't,
18:04.0
I wasn't happy
18:06.0
in all those years
18:07.0
that I was in a love team.
18:09.0
All those years when I worked at ABS,
18:11.0
Uncle Oji, Ken,
18:13.0
I experienced
18:15.0
some of the best things in life
18:17.0
because of that.
18:18.0
I achieved everything
18:20.0
that I have now because of that.
18:22.0
Okay.
18:24.0
And I left it happy.
18:26.0
I left it fulfilled.
18:28.0
But that doesn't mean
18:29.0
I can't want more.
18:31.0
It doesn't mean that
18:32.0
people don't change
18:33.0
and want growth
18:34.0
and want new experiences.
18:36.0
I get it.
18:38.0
But indicators seem
18:40.0
to point otherwise.
18:42.0
I mean not failure but success.
18:44.0
You have a movie in Hollywood
18:46.0
which is coming out this year.
18:48.0
How is the view from there?
18:50.0
You're already in Hollywood.
18:53.0
You've already met
18:55.0
the people there.
18:58.0
What are you seeing?
19:00.0
I'm seeing opportunity
19:02.0
for growth, obviously.
19:04.0
But it's just as wild.
19:05.0
Hollywood is Hollywood.
19:07.0
I'm pretty sure
19:08.0
it's just as intense.
19:10.0
It's just as intense.
19:11.0
That's the right word.
19:12.0
I haven't fully experienced
19:13.0
that yet because
19:14.0
I only did one project.
19:16.0
But the project that I did,
19:18.0
it was a really great experience
19:20.0
which I expressed in my vlog.
19:23.0
It went actually better
19:24.0
than what I imagined
19:25.0
it would be because
19:27.0
I read entertainment news
19:29.0
around the world too.
19:30.0
And I know that
19:31.0
Hollywood has its flaws too.
19:33.0
No industry is perfect.
19:37.0
So I came there
19:39.0
knowing what I experienced
19:41.0
here in the Philippines
19:43.0
and not expecting
19:45.0
anything perfect from them.
19:47.0
But the process
19:48.0
was so much fun.
19:50.0
I, again, was empowered
19:51.0
to be creative,
19:53.0
to just be myself,
19:54.0
to explore.
19:56.0
And I really enjoyed that.
19:58.0
I enjoyed seeing
20:00.0
how collaborative
20:02.0
each unit,
20:04.0
each element of the
20:05.0
filmmaking process was.
20:08.0
From the crew
20:09.0
to the staff
20:10.0
to the designers
20:11.0
to the makeup artists
20:12.0
to the artists.
20:13.0
Everyone talked freely
20:14.0
amongst themselves.
20:16.0
Everyone was treated
20:17.0
as equals.
20:18.0
And
20:20.0
it was just,
20:21.0
it was refreshing
20:22.0
and nice to have an experience.
20:23.0
Do you have any
20:24.0
future projects in Hollywood?
20:26.0
Hopefully.
20:27.0
I've been auditioning
20:28.0
for a lot of different things.
20:30.0
Is it true that
20:31.0
just getting auditions
20:32.0
is really tough?
20:33.0
It isn't as tough
20:34.0
actually getting the
20:37.0
different audition pieces.
20:39.0
Getting casted for something
20:40.0
is tough
20:42.0
because you're competing
20:43.0
against so many other people
20:44.0
in the world.
20:45.0
Is that okay?
20:46.0
I mean,
20:47.0
you're coming from
20:48.0
a place of privilege.
20:49.0
You're coming from,
20:50.0
you're a superstar here.
20:51.0
Yes.
20:52.0
And then you go
20:53.0
the rounds of auditions.
20:54.0
I mean,
20:55.0
is it difficult?
20:56.0
It's difficult
20:57.0
but I like it.
20:58.0
Okay.
20:59.0
I like challenging myself.
21:00.0
I love that
21:02.0
I'm already there.
21:03.0
Nobody
21:04.0
is treating me
21:05.0
with privilege.
21:07.0
No one cares
21:08.0
about the success
21:09.0
that I have over here.
21:10.0
And you like that?
21:11.0
I like that.
21:12.0
Okay.
21:13.0
You like that journey.
21:14.0
Because
21:15.0
you also said another thing
21:16.0
on your vlog
21:17.0
that now
21:18.0
I am
21:19.0
more intentional.
21:21.0
And here's a problem again.
21:22.0
Does this mean
21:23.0
that the endorsements
21:24.0
that you did before
21:26.0
were not intentional?
21:28.0
You have to explain that.
21:30.0
Yes, I'm trying to be
21:31.0
more intentional
21:32.0
with my endorsements now.
21:33.0
But it doesn't mean
21:35.0
that all the endorsements
21:36.0
that I did before
21:38.0
I didn't like.
21:40.0
Or you don't believe it?
21:41.0
I don't believe it.
21:42.0
It's just that
21:43.0
I was younger.
21:44.0
You know?
21:45.0
Okay.
21:46.0
At the time
21:47.0
those were brands
21:48.0
that I thought
21:49.0
would be amazing
21:50.0
for my branding as well.
21:51.0
And
21:52.0
people change.
21:53.0
How I was when I was 13
21:54.0
is different from
21:55.0
when I was 15.
21:56.0
It's different from
21:57.0
when I was 18.
21:58.0
It's different to who I am now.
21:59.0
I totally get it now.
22:00.0
And
22:01.0
when I saw
22:02.0
your collaboration
22:03.0
with Maya
22:04.0
I got that.
22:05.0
Because you have
22:06.0
participation
22:07.0
not just as an endorser
22:08.0
but
22:10.0
it's collaborative.
22:11.0
Is this a kind of endorsement
22:12.0
that
22:13.0
we'll be seeing
22:14.0
you involved in?
22:15.0
I hope so.
22:17.0
That's also what
22:18.0
I mean
22:19.0
by being intentional.
22:20.0
I want to be
22:21.0
collaborative
22:22.0
with all the brands
22:23.0
that I associate
22:24.0
myself with.
22:25.0
Because
22:26.0
for me
22:27.0
for the longest time
22:28.0
I was known as
22:29.0
one of the top endorsers.
22:30.0
But
22:31.0
they didn't know
22:32.0
me
22:33.0
for me.
22:34.0
I was known as part of Liz Ken.
22:35.0
I was known as the top endorsement.
22:36.0
The beautiful girl.
22:37.0
But that's it.
22:38.0
You know?
22:39.0
They didn't know
22:40.0
my personality.
22:41.0
That was actually
22:42.0
a thing that came up
22:43.0
in my brand essence a lot.
22:45.0
I'm mysterious.
22:46.0
No one knows
22:47.0
anything about me.
22:48.0
My Instagram
22:49.0
looks like a store.
22:51.0
And so
22:52.0
one outlet
22:53.0
for me to be able
22:54.0
to express myself
22:55.0
is through the
22:56.0
brands that I
22:57.0
associate myself with.
22:58.0
And if I'm
22:59.0
participating
23:00.0
or collaborating
23:01.0
in the process
23:02.0
of making the campaigns
23:03.0
that's how I can
23:04.0
show them
23:05.0
me.
23:06.0
That's how I can express
23:07.0
my creativity
23:08.0
and who I am.
23:09.0
My reaction to that
23:10.0
is lucky you.
23:11.0
But you're now
23:12.0
at that point in your life
23:13.0
when you are
23:14.0
evolving.
23:15.0
Yes.
23:16.0
You know?
23:17.0
Because you've been
23:18.0
through that.
23:19.0
Yes.
23:20.0
I like the way you put it.
23:21.0
Your Instagram looks like a store.
23:22.0
Right?
23:23.0
It's like
23:24.0
a dream for many.
23:25.0
Yes.
23:26.0
And you're not saying
23:27.0
again I'm not putting words
23:28.0
into your mouth
23:29.0
but I'm not complaining
23:30.0
it's okay
23:31.0
but it doesn't
23:32.0
also
23:33.0
it doesn't also
23:34.0
stunt my
23:35.0
growth
23:36.0
as an endorser
23:37.0
because I want to be
23:39.0
Yes.
23:40.0
That's true.
23:41.0
Liza,
23:42.0
if you were to say
23:44.0
you know
23:45.0
sorry and thank you
23:46.0
let's start with Ken.
23:47.0
How would you do that?
23:48.0
For example
23:49.0
you would ask
23:50.0
for forgiveness
23:51.0
and you would thank
23:52.0
Ken.
23:53.0
How would that sound?
23:54.0
I feel like
23:55.0
I should say sorry
23:56.0
for not
23:57.0
being as understanding
23:58.0
or being
24:00.0
able to see
24:01.0
his struggles
24:02.0
because I was struggling
24:03.0
at the same time too.
24:05.0
But I want to say
24:06.0
thank you because
24:07.0
he was the understanding
24:08.0
of the whole situation
24:10.0
till now he supports me
24:11.0
with everything that I do.
24:14.0
And he's always been
24:15.0
you know
24:16.0
a good friend
24:18.0
to me
24:19.0
a good boyfriend
24:21.0
and
24:22.0
you know
24:23.0
all
24:24.0
everything that I have now
24:25.0
all of my success
24:27.0
he was the person
24:28.0
that I got to share that with
24:30.0
and it was a good experience.
24:32.0
Uncle Oji.
24:34.0
Uncle Oji?
24:38.0
I would say sorry
24:39.0
if I hurt his feelings
24:40.0
through my vlog
24:44.0
and I would say
24:47.0
thank you for
24:50.0
everything that I have
24:52.0
everything that I know
24:54.0
and everything that I've achieved
24:55.0
through his help.
24:57.0
ABS-CBN?
24:58.0
ABS-CBN
25:00.0
you know
25:01.0
ABS-CBN was always
25:02.0
my second home.
25:04.0
I
25:05.0
devoted
25:07.0
so many years to them.
25:09.0
I'm sorry
25:10.0
again
25:11.0
also to them
25:12.0
if there were people
25:13.0
that I worked closely with
25:15.0
that
25:16.0
were offended by
25:17.0
some of the things
25:18.0
that I said in my vlog.
25:19.0
That wasn't the intention.
25:21.0
But then also
25:22.0
I'm thankful to them
25:23.0
and they know this
25:24.0
I'm thankful
25:25.0
for them
25:26.0
taking
25:27.0
a risk on me
25:28.0
when
25:29.0
you know
25:30.0
I wasn't
25:31.0
I was a nobody
25:32.0
for
25:33.0
investing in me
25:34.0
developing me
25:35.0
creating Liza Soberano
25:37.0
and
25:38.0
thank you also
25:39.0
for being understanding
25:41.0
when
25:42.0
I decided to
25:43.0
no longer renew with them.
25:45.0
Your Tita?
25:46.0
Tita Joanie and I
25:47.0
honestly
25:49.0
we had a bit of a
25:50.0
falling out in these
25:51.0
past two years
25:52.0
due to
25:53.0
miscommunication
25:54.0
also
25:56.0
and I'm sorry if
25:57.0
you know
25:58.0
the lack of communication
25:59.0
from my end
26:00.0
caused her any pain
26:02.0
and also
26:03.0
if she feels
26:04.0
like
26:06.0
she isn't part of
26:07.0
my new journey anymore
26:09.0
and I didn't get to
26:10.0
thoroughly explain
26:11.0
that to her
26:12.0
but I want to say
26:13.0
thank you because
26:14.0
actually all of this
26:15.0
is because of her
26:16.0
she was the first person
26:17.0
that believed in me.
26:19.0
If not for her
26:20.0
I wouldn't have met Tito Ogie
26:21.0
if not for her
26:22.0
I wouldn't have met ABS
26:23.0
if not for her
26:24.0
I wouldn't have met Ken.
26:25.0
And so
26:26.0
thank you
26:27.0
she was my
26:28.0
she is
26:29.0
like my second mom
26:31.0
and I just
26:32.0
I'm so grateful for her
26:33.0
for taking care of me
26:34.0
for all these years.
26:35.0
Tito Dudu
26:36.0
must just be somewhere
26:37.0
watching over you.
26:39.0
Yes, Tito Dudu.
26:40.0
What do you want to say?
26:41.0
I want to say sorry
26:42.0
that
26:44.0
I wasn't able to really
26:45.0
be there for him
26:47.0
these past few years
26:48.0
and
26:50.0
I'm sorry
26:51.0
if
26:52.0
he felt left out
26:53.0
sometimes
26:54.0
he was very proud
26:55.0
to have discovered me
26:57.0
and
26:59.0
that's what he always
27:00.0
encouraged me to do
27:01.0
which is
27:02.0
I'm one of his
27:03.0
proudest achievements
27:05.0
and I just want to say
27:06.0
thank you also
27:07.0
he's the second person
27:08.0
that I would say
27:09.0
really believed in me
27:11.0
and
27:12.0
I wouldn't be
27:13.0
where I am today
27:14.0
without Tito Dudu Unay.
27:18.0
Your fans?
27:19.0
Sorry
27:20.0
if they're disappointed
27:21.0
in the decisions I made
27:23.0
but also thank you
27:24.0
for understanding
27:25.0
thank you for
27:26.0
supporting me
27:27.0
throughout the years
27:28.0
thank you for the journey
27:29.0
because
27:30.0
none of my success
27:31.0
would have happened
27:32.0
if they didn't support me
27:34.0
and believe in me.
27:35.0
What do you want to say
27:36.0
to yourself?
27:39.0
Thank you
27:41.0
for being strong
27:42.0
despite everything
27:43.0
that you've been through
27:44.0
thank you for
27:45.0
being a good person
27:46.0
for always wanting
27:47.0
to grow
27:48.0
and push yourself
27:49.0
to be better
27:50.0
professionally
27:51.0
and personally
27:52.0
and
27:53.0
just thank you
27:54.0
for not giving up
27:56.0
on yourself.
27:57.0
To the careless guys
27:59.0
who are carefully
28:00.0
taking good care of you now.
28:02.0
Yeah
28:03.0
I want to say thank you
28:04.0
to them because
28:06.0
they were the first
28:07.0
people that really
28:08.0
empowered me
28:10.0
inspired me
28:11.0
to really
28:12.0
fight
28:13.0
to have a voice
28:14.0
and to really
28:15.0
find what makes me
28:16.0
Hope Soberano
28:17.0
happy and fulfilled
28:19.0
but also they're
28:20.0
constantly working
28:21.0
day in and day out
28:22.0
to help Liza
28:24.0
achieve her goals
28:25.0
as an actress
28:27.0
and
28:28.0
as an endorser
28:29.0
and as an advocate
28:30.0
but
28:31.0
they keep hope
28:33.0
you know
28:34.0
the person inside
28:35.0
grounded and
28:37.0
they help me understand
28:38.0
the world from a different perspective.
28:40.0
What is your prayer
28:41.0
right now?
28:43.0
My prayer
28:44.0
I just
28:45.0
pray that people
28:46.0
would be kinder
28:48.0
people would really try to
28:50.0
be
28:51.0
more
28:53.0
compassionate
28:55.0
understanding
28:56.0
of other people's
28:57.0
journeys
28:58.0
understand that like
29:00.0
especially in showbiz
29:03.0
there's a lot
29:04.0
that is
29:05.0
unsaid
29:06.0
there's a lot that we don't
29:07.0
talk about
29:08.0
there's a lot that goes on
29:10.0
behind closed doors
29:12.0
and
29:13.0
I hope that they just
29:14.0
I pray that people
29:15.0
always remember that
29:16.0
we're all people
29:17.0
at the end of the day
29:18.0
that make mistakes
29:20.0
but also just
29:21.0
are trying our best
29:22.0
to
29:23.0
make our fans
29:24.0
proud
29:25.0
make
29:26.0
our loved ones proud
29:27.0
and the people that take
29:28.0
risks on us proud
29:29.0
so I just
29:30.0
pray that people would be
29:31.0
nicer and more
29:32.0
compassionate.
29:33.0
Last question
29:34.0
after everything
29:35.0
has been said
29:36.0
and done
29:37.0
after the noise
29:39.0
you know
29:40.0
it's been so noisy
29:41.0
the past week
29:43.0
after all of the
29:44.0
speculations
29:45.0
after all the
29:47.0
good and the bad
29:49.0
just who are you
29:51.0
when no one
29:52.0
is watching?
29:55.0
I'm hope
29:56.0
I'm actually a very
29:58.0
very sensitive
29:59.0
but
30:00.0
I'm also
30:02.0
I'm a big dreamer
30:03.0
there's a lot
30:04.0
that I want
30:05.0
for people
30:06.0
I just want the best
30:07.0
for everyone
30:08.0
I want to create
30:09.0
a good
30:10.0
and safe
30:11.0
world
30:12.0
for
30:14.0
everyone
30:15.0
not just for myself
30:16.0
not just for my loved ones
30:17.0
but for everyone
30:22.0
Thank you
30:23.0
Thank you
30:24.0
Thank you
