When I was about to be assigned here, parang bigla akong gusto kumatras eh sa totoo lang.

Kasi six months before my assumption as district director of MPD, punong-puno nang sakit ng ulo to Andre, maniwala ka.

Alos every two weeks may nai-involve na police of different anomalies and irregularities.

Kung di akong magkamali na huli ito sa area ng Makati, di ko alam kung nakabalik na loko-loko na iyon.

And what is very critical at that time is two weeks after my assumption as the district director,

one of the biggest challenges that we have at that time is a visitor coming from a foreign country.

Two weeks pa lang ako rito. That is one of the most challenging part na nangyari sa akin dito sa Manila Police District.

You know why? Because the requirement of the Chinese government then was to clearly clear the streets of any vehicle and any man.

So just imagine, they were able to identify seven high-rise buildings just to secure the President of China at that time.

Why? Because we were able to successfully secure the President of China at that time.

And for that, kung makikita ninyo yung Manila Police District, I gave an acronym there for all the personnel, officers and men of Manila Police District to really memorize that one.

Gaya nga nasabi ng ating MC kanina, I coined Manila or letter M to be coined as isang pulis na mapagkakatiwalaan, isang pulis na maaasahan.

And I coined letter P as isang pulis na protektor ng mga inusenteng sibilyan. And letter D at isang pulis na disiplinado at isang pulis who can defend and who can defend the community at any time.

So yan ang definition ng MPD at May Time. And lagi namin pinapamemorize yan, Andre, sa kanila. Every time that I visit any station, any PCP, I always ask them ano ang kibig sabihin niyan. And please memorize it by heart.

And so many challenges went along the way. Maraming accomplishment ang na-achieve natin at that time. And also from 2018 to 2019, those were the crucial times of election. It was actually a local election.

And also I would like to take this opportunity to thank our LGU din, the former mayor of Manila, former mayor Estrada who has been very benevolent sa atin pong kapulisan, who has been very helpful, and talagang napaka-matalingin niya.

So I think kahit sino umupo naman siguro na LGU talaga namang tumutulong sa ating mga kapulisan at hindi pinapabayaan lalong-lalo na ang inyong allowance.

So ano ang ibig sabihin nito? In my time up to this now, the LGUs has been always there to really support our PNP. Ano ang ibig sabihin yan?

Ibig sabihin kung ano yung beneficium na kukuha natin sa kanila ng isang maayos na servisyo. Sana lang yung mga medyo may kalakuhan, please, if you will do it, think a thousand times before doing it.
