Mga dudes, pag-usapan natin ang Skypod 3.0 a.k.a. The Rise at Monterazas.

So last week, nag-release si my dudes later ng video about their upcoming high-end condo project, ang The Rise.

And nung napanood ko ito, I gotta say, it's very impressive, my dudes.

The design is very beautiful and well thought out.

And speaking of complex, holy guacamole, ibang level yung scale model nila dito sa The Rise, my dudes.

Like yung details sa lighting, napakirap gawin nito.

Isa-isa mong iwawaryan, pati yung garden nila may ilaw.

At pag tinignan natin, maigyay, may mood lighting pa yung pool.

And not to mention, the strip light along the edge nitong terraces.

Anyway, nalalayo na tayo sa topic. I'm so sorry for geeking out.

Pag-usapan natin yung design ng The Rise.

So yung ginawa nila dito ay, imbis na gumawa sila ng typical high-rise na structures na mukhang kahon,

paganyan, very boring and very unnatural.

Tignan, hinigahan nila yung structure para yakap na yakap niya yung side ng bundok.

Which, architecturally speaking, is a good move.

So good na may ibang projects outside of the Philippines that have similar solutions.

So a few days after pinost ni Madudes, later ang kanilang project,

nagsisulputan yung mga posts na kinukumpara ang The Rise sa similar projects,

mainly ang Gods and Dreams Resort by 314 Architectural Studio.

Pag tinignan natin sa biglang tingin, they are very similar.

They both have curves, nasa side sila ng bundok, mayroong konting greeneries.

So upon further research, ibig sabihin, nag-google ako ng 2 minutes,

I found out na yung Gods and Dreams Resort is inspired by the ancient Greek theater typology,

habang yung The Rise is inspired by the Banaue rice terraces.

Wait, kaya ba The Rise yung tawag kasi?

Anyway, my dudes, nung una ako nakita yung The Rise, naalala ko yung Trujena sa Neon,

which looks similar, pero sa biglang tingin lang, or kung nakaganto yung mata nyo.

So yung ganitong design, my dudes, is probably one of the best solutions for a mountain site development,

both aesthetically and structurally.

And as architects, inaayon namin yung mga design sa existing terrain at conditions ng site,

and yung goal is to come up with a design na functional as well as maganda tignan.

It just so happens na ganito yung best form para sa ganitong klaseng development,

and ito yung best solution for this type of problem.

Yung sikat na pyramids na alam ng karamihan ay yung nasa Egypt, mainly yung Great Pyramid of Giza.

Pero across the globe, over the ocean, and on the other side of the mountain,

may ibang mga pyramid-like structures, most notably ay yung Chichen Itza sa Mexico.

So kung titignan natin, medyo similar sila ng shape, pero they are located in two different continents.

Pero parehas yung structure nila, and yung rason ay dahil yung triangle ay ang pinaka-stable na shape.

So both civilizations just constructed yung pinaka-madali at pinaka-stable high-rise typology na kaya nila i-construct,

which is a pyramid.

it seems na wala masyadong trees if ikukumpara natin sa forest area sa tabi nito.

So I think they chose the area na minimal ang mga trees and vegetation na maaalis.

Pero siyempre, wala namang project na truly zero impact sa environment.

So as architects and engineers and designers,

ang role namin is to minimize yung impact namin sa nature

at palitan yung mga naalis na greenery like yung trees and shrubs and all that stuff.

So I think that's what they tried to do here

by providing itong mga green strips sa harap ng balconies

and introducing mga flora or mga puno-puno.

And I think it would even be better kung yung walls na ito,

imbis na bare, patubuan pa nila ng mga crawling ivy

which could house yung mga insects, lizards, and other fauna na madidisplaced by this development.

So some more additional things they could do,

itong area na ito sa labas, imbis na tiles,

baka pwedeng actual na grass na lang so para siyang green roof.

I think mas lalamig pa sa loob ng mga bahay

kasi yung tiles, magre-reflect yan ng heat pa loob.
