As the Philippines continues to grow – in economy and in population, so do its demands for infrastructure. Here are some of the massive infrastructures that are nearing completion in Central Philippines. 1. The Leyte Tide Embankment Project was conceptualized as part of the Build Back Better policy of the Government’s Program on Rehabilitation and Recovery from Super Typhoon Yolanda to build safer cities/communities The Project shall cover a length of about 27.3 kilometers stretching from the shoreline of Barangay Diit of Tacloban City passing through the entire shoreline of the Municipality of Palo, Leyte and ending up to Barangay Ambao of Tanauan, Leyte. 2. The Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), also known as the Cebu–Cordova Bridge, is a 8.9 km (5.5 mi) toll bridge expressway under construction in Metro Cebu which will link Cebu City and Cordova, Cebu.
