This is a pre-pandemic video, taken last February 2020. Not sure what Taiwan's travel policies and entry restrictions are now, so just check before you book anything. In the meantime, you can plan or build an itinerary. Our destination was really Alishan but but since we entered Taiwan via Kaohsiung, we decided to stay overnight. It was our 3rd time in Kaohsiung so we skipped the main tourist spots that we visited before and chose to eat our way around the city this time around. (We also returned to Pier 2 Art Museum because it was very close to some of the food places we tried.)
