Yeah, well, listen, I mean, obviously, the whole situation is a tragedy for clean athletes around the world. The fact that, you know, the rules weren't followed. And obviously, that was one thing that was, you know, acknowledged by the WADA press conference that Chinada should have announced the violation, they should have disqualified the athletes, they should have just, you know, provisionally suspended, although they claimed there was some exceptions that may be applied there.

But, you know, at the end of the day, clean athletes look at this system and are just, you know, frustrated and upset that, you know, a number of athletes at this level can test positive for a substance like this. And the way that's been described, you can have the, you know, state security, you know, create this excuse, and then that gets signed off on by the global regulator.

So while, you know, really appreciate WADA opening up and providing some information.

About their, you know, process. It was, it was really, unfortunately, very unsatisfying and actually opened up a whole load of questions about the situation that need to be still need to be answered and actually investigated.

So athletes are calling for, you know, a review and investigation and we have to get to the bottom of how this possibly happened. And more importantly, ensure going into 2024 that athletes that, you know, had problems.

You know, some sort of justice occurs so we can have some finality. So we don't show up in, you know, excuse me, in Paris and have a female world championships all over again where athletes are forced to step off the podium because they're standing for their right because the system let them down.

If you remember, Sun Yang, another athlete who, by the way, tested positive for this very same drug as well, a few years ago, was under an investigation and a case that was going to court.

And for doping and athletes refused to get on the podium with him. And that's just a terrible position to put athletes and athletes should not be put in that position and they should have as much certainty as they possibly can have that the games are going to be fair and they're going to be clean, and that they should be able to focus on their training to be prepared when Paris comes along and just a few short months.

There's so many things that, you know, bother clean athletes around the world that are aware of the system. I mean, they've effectively flipped strict liability on its head.

They've had an authoritarian government with its, you know, secret, you know, security system provide a defense that they really don't question or challenge. You know, how easy would it have been in this state to find out who had access to the kitchen?

Listen, I would welcome it because it would be a lot of fun to see the discovery between, you know, and the emails and the discussion between why they decided not to follow the rules and allow Chinada not to follow the rules.

And cover this situation up. So, look, I had a board member one time, you know, back a few years ago, say, if you're not, you know, being sued or being threatened to be sued, then you're not doing your job.

That's part of the job. Obviously, it doesn't make anybody happy and it's a diversion from the actual facts of the case.

And that's what WADA should be spending its money on and actually doing a real investigation, not hiring lawyers or even having lawyers review whether they should sue media outlets.

Which they threaten to do or people on social media or maybe. So, it's just frankly ridiculous.

Well, I think the conference today has left athletes with more questions and answers still.

There hasn't been a real substantive response to why these athletes weren't provisionally suspended.

Why WADA blindly or openly accepted the Chinese police.

And why WADA didn't give a full explanation that there was TMZ in the kitchen.

And, you know, athletes we spoke today said, you know, would WADA have allowed Russia to investigate itself when they had the institutionalized doping?

And the answer, of course, is no. And so, why did they allow Chinada and the Chinese police to investigate themselves and not hold it to a higher standard?

It just, there's something missing here where athlete confidence is limited.

And explanations haven't been provided to justify how this was handled.

I think WADA has a responsibility to provide all evidence and publicly disclose all evidence when it comes to what they've received, emails, to build confidence.

And if there's nothing to hide, then surely they should be willing to put everything out for an independent review outside the sport industry.

In fact, give it to police authorities.

Whether it's the FBI or others that can review and look at the validity of it.

Because when you have nothing to hide, you're willing to expose the truth and present everything out there.

The athletes' names have already been released through the documentary, so we know that.

So there's really nothing to hide other than transparency and to show the truth.

Well, that's why the code and the World Anti-Doping Code, there's due process.

And everybody has the right to due process.

But due process seems to have been very sparse and lenient in this case.

Where it doesn't appear that due process was carried, there was no public disclosures, no provisional suspensions.

And quite frankly, no one would have found out about this unless there was whistleblowers that came forward.

So if there's nothing to hide, if WADA has acted appropriately, then we would again encourage them to disclose all information.

Publicly, to allow people to judge and to understand exactly why this was accepted, but currently, we're not getting, I don't think anyone or athletes are getting more answers.

I think there's more questions than answers being asked.
