We begin with the latest in the historic criminal trial of former U.S. President and presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump.

Prosecutors are asking Judge Juan Merchan to fine Trump $10,000 for violating a gag order that prevents him from criticizing witnesses and others involved in the case.

New York Prosecutor Christopher Conroy asked the court to hold Trump in contempt, citing numerous posts from Trump's Truth social media platform.

Conroy pointed to an April 10 post that called porn star Stormy Daniels and his former lawyer Michael Cohen sleazebags.
