I am studying the Filipino language because I am actually half filipino but moved to Australia when I was only 1 and a half, so my parents did not feel it necessary for me to learn Tagalog. I am actually Visayan, but I would be happy to learn Tagolog first and become fluent in that, so I can communicate with confidence when returning back.
