Question: "Loyola ka ba?"

What does this joke pickup line mean? Vic Sotto didn't continue and explain why.

Loyola is a word used in some titles in the Philippines. There might be some mildly obscure joke or he might just be trying to find other words that rhyme with "Crayola".

@chocnot , what sort of title are you referring to? When I hear Loyola, I think of a university.

I'm thinking of the same university. And apparently Loyola is associated with Jesuits. When I said titles, I mean Loyola Heights, Loyola Memorial Park, and an insurance company that I'm not sure is popular.

@AsikotNaPaham
In the urban dictionary:
A loyalist left-hand path hench, mobster, or hitman that uses underhanded tactics from the shadows, such as double-garroting or poisons or occultism of some kind.
Brett Bajara is one of Kissenger's loyola; always available at a moment's notice to jump on a private jet and fly halfway around the world to fix any problem.

I don't know if it helps...

@Axel2023, I'm not sure if mobsters are called that in the Philippines. I've heard of the word "alipores" though.

@chocnot, Loyola Memorial Park's probably the closest out of those.

I also haven't heard of loyola used in that way but I do get the reason a bit so it is highly possible and I'm just not familiar. Aside from "alipores" mentioned by @AsikotNaPaham, there's also "galamay" as in tentacles because the mastermind uses them to move (for the plan).
