I have a feeling minsan minsan...
a speaker might avoid the presence tense of a verb by employing nakaka- rather than faithfully conjugating the affix...
I'll hear someone nag- the past tense and then switch to nakaka in the continuing form...
OF course nag can be too "strong" for repeated use...but a trusted Tagalog hinted he felt nag double double was pangit...and shifted in his nakaka
Any thoughts?
