Filipinx or mamsir? I have recently encountered the term "filipinx" and was wondering if people actually use it.

Filipinx is just tokenism. How do you even pronounce it? At least Mamsir has widespread use, VERBALLY. (Natural evolution of Ma'am/Sir)

People who advocate Filipinx end up saying Filipino in the end. Lol

There was a segment about this very word and it's introduction to some sort of Filipino dictionary on ABS/CBN last night, Sunday the 6th of September 2020.

This feels like more of big deal to Filipinos outside of the Philippines. most of the time people just use pinoy/ filipino. While yes, they can be gendered as Filipina or Pinay, these are more for emphasizing one's femininity rather than something mandatory dictated in the grammar.

Also I doubt mamser would be used unironically because it only represents two genders
