Based on my research it means to turn something upside down. Post the entire sentence for context.

@AMBoy

Here's the sentence:
"Kayang-kaya ring pataubin ng nanay mo ang gabundok mang labahin."

The sentence is from a story.

Roor verb is "taob" means to flip over. The sentence used it as colloquialism. May also use to mean: defeat soundly, win against considerably, slay, etc.

@OmpongIbarra Can you please translate the entire sentence though?

@AMBoy translation:

Mom killed the mountain-sized laundry.

Mom did a real exceptional job washing (implied) that really huge laundry.

Literally, it means to put something upside down

However, it is used to mean "to upset someone - usually in a game/match".

E.g. Pinataob ng Gilas ang Korea sa FIBA - Gilas upset Korea in FIBA

@Bituingmaykinang Is 'taob' commonly used with that meaning?
