"Bughaw" means the color "blue," but it is less commonly used nowadays.
Around 75% of the time native Filipino language speakers would say the English word "blue", and maybe around 20% of the time they would use the word "asul" for blue (from the Spanish "azul"), and only around 5% of the time would the word "bughaw" be used.
"Bughaw" is used in the Filipino national anthem, "Lupang Hinirang" in the 3rd verse:
