I am studying the Filipino language because I want to learn how to be fluent in Tagalog! My parents are native Filipinos from Manila and immigrated to the United States and gave birth to me. I'm 27 and want to reconnect to my Filipino cultural roots, and what better way to do that than learn the language! Mabuhay!

Hello! My name is Shane. I have been married for almost 17 years to my wife Jamaica. She is originally from Makati and moved to Canada in 1998.
I have a decent understanding of Tagalog grammar rules plus a good vocabulary. However, we always communicate in English, so I've needed a resource to help push my Tagalog along to competence and hopefully toward fluency. Maybe this site is that resource.
