I am studying the Filipino language because asawa ko ay filipina. Kailangan ko ng grammatical explanations and haven’t found much thus far. I’ve never joined a group/forum before and am not so computer savvy, but I told myself I would learn Tagalog or die trying! My first question is related to the prefix ‘makiki’ vs ‘makikipag’ and what idea/meaning they are trying to convey as opposed to a simple mag/nag prefix, I noticed this prefix on several verbs, I learn best when I understand the construction within a language, thank you! Also, if anyone can point me to any well written grammar sources that would be great, thanks!
