Hello! My name is akoman0723. I am from California and I am an Intermediate Filipino language student.
I am studying the Filipino language because....I lived there for nine years. I live far from other Filipinos. I would like to learn more the original Tagalog instead of Taglish, I would like to keep some “sanay” in the language so I don’t lose it altogether.

@Blueeyessd84 I usually do one hour a day at least, flash cards help out alot, although getting the grammar is a problem at the moment. but I'm hoping to smooth that out once I get to talking with people.

@Blueeyessd84 I'm a complete beginner but I'm used to studying languages.
I always start by understanding the grammar, I mean, a general understanding then I learn the vocabulary and build up sentences.
Here, I study the lessons (almost completed) and I'm learning the vocabulary with the help of the flash cards, I choose the most common words.
